The Middleburn manual says I need Shimano Lockring Tool TL UN-96. Anyone know if Park Tools BBT 18 8 prong works instead? Looks like it should and £10 cheaper as far as I can see......

I'm pretty sure any 8 prong BB tool will work. I've a Pedros one and a Shimano one and they both fit.

I have a spare 8 prong x-tools one I don't need. Used once - £4 posted. E-mail in profile.

Serves me right for not checking back here, went and ordered a Park BB18 for £15 on CRC earlier. If I can cancel I will take you up on your offer Mrtrotter, thanks.
