2 rear wheels driven, seated driver, almost symmetrical, no need for the passenger to hang off (no need for a passenger, TBH).
They were banned a few years later, as not really in the spirit of the thing.

It’s a prototype, for proof of concept, I believe. It won’t earn points, but data collected will be valuable. Fabulous looking thing, though. I like the Audi and Toyota cars, that dorsal fin is so 1950’s, like a D-Type Jag!
