Does anybody know anything about learning to ride from scratch as an adult?
A friend of my OH wants to learn to ride as a surprise for her husband to be.
Anybody know of techniques or even classes (in or around Central London)?

i learnt with ‘pedallingforpleasure’ when i was 30. the instructor was great and i was ridng within 10 minutes. the rest of the day was spend riding around woodland and learning the basics.

they are based in ringwood, hampshire which is a couple of hours drive from london.
