I've got a Trek 1.5…. seems OK to me but I've never had anything else to compare it to 🙄

    Umm…. It's a WSD and either a 49cm or 50cm can't remember which. I'm just over 5'5''.

Standover and position of saddle vs cranks etc. feels OK, but when I'm on the drops it feels a bit cramped on the top tube length so I might try a slightly longer stem (or I should have got the next size up). I've already played with the saddle position.

But, of course you're going to get her to try for size before you buy aren't you?!?

depends upon the budget and whether she wants a wsd bike. There are loads of wsd bikes out there by specialized, trek, bmc, felt, giant, bianchi, cervelo, ridley, cannondale, pinnarello, merkx etc etc………..as for sizing I am 5ft 3" and ride a 48cm trek madone.

Any good deals around the £500 mark in a 50cm or so out there?
