Its a 3 - the 's' version. The phone keeps on cutting out during calls. Now this could be reception as it seems to vary between 2 bars and full coverage here. However, previously it would cut out and return to the home screen and I'd simply re-dial. Now the screen just goes black with the apple logo and takes 3-4 minutes to return to the enter password screen.
Any ideas? Thanks

Have you recently updated the iOS or something? If not sounds a hardware issue...
