Right now I'm so happy I feel like telling the world about a little discovery. 😀
Tonight I spent about an hour trying to inflate the 2Bliss Storm on a Flow rim with a track pump. Tried all the tricks: Tube in, leave a bead mounted (couldn't get it to stay on when deflating), neat fairy, tube around... no success... until...
I noticed that the fairy was showing bubbles at an unusually even spacing, which upon inspection seemed to coincide with the "hairs" around the bead left by the injection moulding. So I trimmed them all off with a sharp pair of scissors, and hey-presto, it went up first time, just like every Maxxis that I've previously used.
Hope I'm not just stating the obvious and that someone else benefits from this. 😀
