I got cut up on the commute home but saw the berk getting caught in traffic just down the road so I hooned after him and as I changed into 8th I heard a clunk, but it stayed in gear until I caught up.

Tried to ride off after and it wouldn’t stay in gear under pressure or shift unless I was wheeling it forward. The yellow markers are lined up fine…

It’s a 44t alfine crank with a 20t rear ( alfine ) with a whipperman ss chain, on a older ill pompino – nothing odd, and not abused like the one on the 456.

10 months old, warrenty job? Or anything else?

don’t think it’s too much power, i’ve done worse on the other hub, plus I’m not akabusi and it was the wrong end of a 15 mile commute.

Should be a warranty at that age, if not a shifting problem. If no joy, give me shout.

    False alarm (ish).

Snapped the pin holding the sprocket correctly in place or something or other.

All fixed and riding fine again now.
