Following on from a few posts regarding water entering the top of waterproof socks my brother made this sock seal using a wetsuit wrist cuff seal. He says that the ankle seals are to big and baggy and that he used a large wrist seal. The seal has circular ribs which he used as a cutting mark to cut to the corect size for his ankle/calf.

    what do you think?
Sorry for quality of image it was taken on his phone.

I reckon if you put a foot seal on upside down the baggy bit would hang over the top of the boot keeping it dry.

How about just getting wet or staying indoors where nature won't get you?

    Looks good.

Elliptic wraps cheap duct tape around his cuffs. Ow!

Apparently the cheap tape has weak glue so it's not to bad and keeps him dry.
