There's a lot of colour coordinated bikes around.
Has anyone ever done the opposite and deliberately colour uncoordinated their bike ?
I've mixed up red and gold segments on my Nokon cables to give a striped effect and I've tried purple grips with a white frame, but that's about it.
I've got this daft idea of trying to get as many colours as possible on to one bike, odd colour grips, hubs, rims and cranks. Anodised 'bars, stem and seat post all in different colours and so on.

It would cost too much to change all my existing components just for novelty value, so I doubt I'll ever do it, although there was someone here who had some stuff anodised recently at what seemed a reasonable price, so if I was prepared to strip the bike down and send the bits off, maybe I could.

So, to give me an idea of what it might look like, has anyone got any pictures of a harlequin bike ?

This is all I could find on google images for multi coloured bike.

Imagine something similar as a single speed 29er.
How cool would that be ? 8)

My mate used to have one of those original Giant TCRs in that horrible green with different coloured bar tape each side and yellow tyres. That was when we worked at a bike shop though and he just grabbed stuff that wasn't selling as it was near free...

It looked gopping.

I think that 5 is at Llandegla, they have one as a test bike, obviously very recognisable.

At landegla they have a few 5s like that in the shop. I think an alpine too.

Bloody terrible thing to do to a bike that is ๐Ÿ™

That's it. ๐Ÿ˜€
I still don't know if I will ever get around to buying all the parts or getting stuff anodised or painted, but that's the look I'm after.
