I like guy martin.
But I couldn't understand a word/idea/concept he just spoke about.

I do know he's heading off tomorrow morning, however.

It's dark and cold enough down here in the SW. Can't help but feel he is going to have many many cold dark hours.

Round the coast of England? Ha!

Terrahawk are you going to be pacing him at any points?

Is his location posted anywhere? I can't find it.

He'll have to come past my house - want to know what time to have a brew on.

Depends on his rate of progress and whether I'm at work when he's around this way. Tricky to fit massive rides in at this time of year with work, kids, Christmas visits to relatives, etc.

Is there any website showing his location? Would give him a cheer if he passes me at a good time.

I stopped to give them a cheer on the stanes tour, they didn't seem that impressed tbh. MON THE TERRAHAWK = hard stare from Guy ๐Ÿ˜†

Wouldn't surprise me if he just wanted to get his head down & crack on for a lot of it, without people turning out to see him the whole time. Obviously will have to make regular stops to do TV bits though!

I'm sure the loyal GM [s]stalkers[/s] fan club will keep us updated though ๐Ÿ™‚

we were probably freezing our knackers off by then. Was it late afternoon, raining?

Who's got the GoogleFoo to find the details of the official record and its route? I can't seem to find a definitive source.

Near Peebles- you all looked pretty fed up tbh. I am aware that what to me was a charming and cheering huzzah may have sounded to his english ears like a blood curdling scottish battlecry, or a monkey on heat that thinks its found a match.

Anyone know what bike he's using. Looks like some sort of Kona in the video with an Orange RX9 in the background?

As a Southron now staying in Fife I can advise normally sounds like the latter of those two options.

Will he have time to knock one out in those 250 mile days?

There's always time for that, it's more about the privacy unless you like the danger option.

The bike with tri bars on is a Salsa Cutthroat which he rode the Tour Divide on in the summer hopefully his route finding skills will be better on this trip.

if he was on Stonehaven on Tuesday and then ended in Elgin then we know he's attempting it anti-clockwise.

Guy is using a Salsa cutthroat for this ride, however he used a salsa Fargo for the tour divide ride

The Fargo is on display at Louth Cycle Centre alongside his Rourke, where I am a mechanic

I will, when I can give more info on the cutthroat

Interesting time of year to attempt! Balmy up here in the not frozen North though..

Is there an official recorded route for this as a record attempt?

can't help but think that many miles on UK roads in winter is probably the most dangerous thing he's done yet ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
