The ice roads of Estonia. That must be quite an experience.
The road of death. Sounds like a challenge.
    Any more?

The B1078 from Orford to Wattisham. Great fun on a bike or in a small, fast car.

The one to Applecross. But would swap my Zafira for an Elise next time.

a30 from the mount misery roundabout to sennen. only a few miles, but get it quiet and its a blast. loads of lovely lovely flowing bends.

for sheer views, the north coast road from st ives to st just. amazing how few tourists know of that road. stunning road cycling as well.

A4212 from Bala towards Trawsfynnd…… simply marvelous. Used to do it a lot on the way to the beach but now cruise control down the A55 with the kids in the back.

Agree with that, but also good in a car. Also:

Blairgowrie, A93 to Ballater then A939 to Grantown
Lochcarron, A896 to Kinlochewe then A832 to Gairloch

A701 from Moffat to Leadburn crossroads. Great countryside with little HGV traffic. After 200 miles of the M6/M74 it wakes you up.

B6047 between Melton and Market Harborough is good fun, or at least it used to be. Probably covered in cameras by now.

n85 is a good call. A6 shap used to be one of my faves for speeding – wide, not much traffic fast as you like.

Can’t imagine anything more boring, looks (from the pictures) to be very straight, mostly flat and boring? Good for looking at the scenery I suppose, not much for driving.

Speeding is illegal, TJ, regardless of the amount of traffic….. Surely you know that….

Was done by a couple of squaddies a few years ago, needless to say they got caught.

B3081 from Cann Common to Tollard Royal, a series of switchback bends on the side of a hill, officially the bendiest road in the UK, an absolute beast to ride up as well.

passo di stelvio. Need to do it on a motorbike for full effect

PCH nice but more of a cruiser type of road

Route 66 it’s a bit depressed now as a lot of stuff on it has shut.

Not sure how good the Duke’s Pass near Callander would be in a car, it’s a bit narrow and has a bit of slow traffic and the occasional tour bus etc. But on a motorbike it’s absolutely fantastic.

Many happy journeys on this road, did a fair bit of driving for experience on L plates here.
Talsarnau/Maentwrog to Harlech (the twisty one) is quite good fun too.

TJ, just quoting for posterity for next time you’re on your high horse about illegal driving habits…For example, berating car drivers for driving too fast….

Ziggy, it’s done far more than you might think. 🙂

Current fave is A712, great road after doing Kirroughtree, in fact Kirroughs trails didn’t do it for me but that road did.
