Does anyone have a contact for Garmin in the UK?

I’m not sure if it’s the kind of thing they’d be interested in, but a friend is leaving to cycle around the world, and I can’t believe she’s not taking a Garmin!

It says “Unfortunately during 2011 we cannot take on any additional sponsorship whether financial or product-based.”

I was hoping they might consider doing a cost price cycle computer even. I guess they have quite a bit on their plate with sponsoring the pro teams!

Maybe ask a shop that sells Garmins?
I know Go Outdoors have given free kit to bloggers to review.

I have written off to the media relations people in Garmin, maybe they’ll provide her with a unit to review. She’s about to depart on the ferry, so she wouldn’t be near an LBS that she could pop into – and it might be an unusual request in a non-LBS ( hi- you don’t know me, could you give me one of those Garmin yokes, to borrow….)

No joy hearing back from them yet. 🙁
