    400 for a belt drive, internal hub geared, aluminium framed city bike is very well priced.

    for MTBing sure, but as a tough but light, low maintenance, mudguarded, city bike for transport and carrying things, it looks reasonable to me.

    That’s what 700c (622mm) is called in much of Europe. It’s not the 634mm of the real 28″ wheel.
