well what did you think?

I thought it was pretty good, but had to leave early and missed the last 10(?) minutes because the second film started late which was pretty frustrating. If it had finished on time as advertised at 10.30 I would have had time to retrieve the car from the car park before it shut and see the whole thing. Was it just me that found some of the dialogue hard to follow? Or is it maybe my advanced years and too much time spent on motorbikes without earplugs?

Not just you, sound quality wasn't the best at times. Good film but would have liked more biking and less chat though. Home is my preferred of the 2

it was a good evening.. i thought the best part was the opening scene about the dude that did the 7 stanes in less than 24hrs respect… i thought the end scene was a bit long winded… i wanted to see more MTBing and less chat…

Unfortunately the volume of folk in the cinema meant we ended up starting late as folk kept filing in. For next time, I'll ask the cinema to open the doors early so we can start promptly.

Cheers Sanny it was a good night, I would like to see more of the filming from Torridon and Skye as I spent a week up there this year and the riding is the best I've ever done.

Saw it in Bristol.

Found it hard to hear the dialogue properly. Needed a little more riding in it, but otherwise I liked it. The Peaty/Rey/Mac section was my favourite, although I did also really liked the Rob Lee bit too. Can't remember the rest! Will probably get the DVD if it's in a deal with Home. These films feel a lot more "real" to me than all those freeride films.

I meant to add – to the three tubes who decided to give abuse to the projectionist trying to get past as they were waiting in the queue, don't bother coming to a film screening again. Thanks to your rudeness, you've managed to put future mountain bike film nights in jeopardy.

Definitely think both films would benefit from shortening a bit. I'm no expert but I thought the music and cinematography were spot on but a lot of the talking could have been cut. The first and last sections of Find were interesting because there was something interesting to talk about (bonkers endurance idea and the experiences of world class riders) but in the middle, despite some amazing footage and great music, there's only so many different ways you can say 'Riding's great and its great to go to new places to ride and meet new friends' before it gets a bit samey.

Still bought a copy though. Had the surreal experience of waiting in line behind Danny MacAskill's Mum insisting on paying for 2 copies despite the best efforts of the staff to give them to her free (she's in the film FFS!).

I know what you mean re there only being so much talking required in a bike film. Having said that, I like the almost documentary nature of both films. A bit different from everything being super gnarly to the power of rad! Ha! Ha! I half expected Marlin Brando to pop up in the fireside section. It all got a bit Apocalypse Now! Ha! Ha!

Quality film, thought it hit the spot and a good follow on to Home. Sanny, you're right, there's a million and one full on bike action movies out there all trying to out do each other with the maddest shots … it's the characters in this that make it real. Down to earth Brit riders (plus Hans Rey!) showing what it's all about, getting out there, riding and having fun.
