Just saw this pop up. Will be interesting to see the new products!

Fitting longer arms to people?
Good stuff!
Will be really interesting to see what they develop now. I really wish them a huge amount of success. Love the look of the Geometron bikes and can't wait to ride one next year!
Good news, but.....150 Geometrons! Wow, that's a lot more than the 30 odd I'd thought.
You don't see many industry sales figures for specific bikes in this country, I have no idea whether for instance Orange sell 100 or 1000 Fives a year, how many bikes On-one put together and so on, but 150 seems pretty good going for a niche in a niche in a niche.
Cool. Had a ball on my Geometron in Finale last week, and the tuning job they did on my 36 just before I went was mint too. Clever folks who are a joy to deal with, hope it goes well for them.
but 150 seems pretty good going for a niche in a niche in a niche.
Zero advertising, zero pushing etc. decent margin and then got Nicoli to do the work isn't bad for a 1 man business, scale that from 30 to 100-200 and you have risk, that is 1 customer every 2-3 days rather than 10 days. Be interesting
Some good news for sure!
Explains one of the more recent conversations I had with one of the Mojo staff over the phone. I was asking about Fox's plans for reduced offset forks, especially now some reasonable sized players such as Whyte & Transition are really throwing their weight behind reduced offsets, and that it's something that Porter himself has been championing for a while. The response confused me somewhat, it was a very corporate "Fox believes the current offsets they offer on their forks are the best options available currently, should that change then we will let you know" kind of answer, and when I questioned about Porter's own experimentations the response was along the lines of "yes, Chris likes to tinker, but what he does is up to him and in no way representative of Fox's plans going forward"...
He's a cantankerous bugger, and I certainly don't agree with everything he says, but I guess without guys like him unafraid to throw caution to the wind, challenge the established "norms" and try new things just for the sake of it, MTBing wouldn't have even evolved in the first place! Good luck to him...

30? Article says they did 150 bikes in year one - that's almost one every 2 days. They do keep stock, so risk not much different to any small bike maker with outsourced manufacturing. And aiming for 250 year two.
“New premises” I wonder if the rumour that Silverfish will be taking over the current Mojo site was true, or maybe they just don’t need the space anymore - Loco worked out of a small unit before he went south, Sprung seems to be a portacabin, haven’t been to TFT but I suspect they’re bigger.
Hmmmm any spare industrial units in wyastone? Old dirt hq
150 does not sound many but I wonder what kind of profit is made on each.. Even 500 quid gives you a 75 grand profit.. Which isn't bad for a sideline venture in the bike industry.
That said.. They have clearly sold on the back of mojo and his reputation (obviously they are great bikes as well), so it's not as if it's not been earned.
We’ve long held a patentable dampening solution...
A what solution?
I'm no chemist, but don't most solutions have the ability to dampen things?
