I *think* they are the 3 widest available. there was talk of 2.5 minions-but i haven't seen em for sale yet...
2.35 Hans Dampfs are pretty big. Bit unnecessarily big imo.
Check out mtbtires.com.
Ardent 2.4 or Purgatory 2.4 also. Get a big rim like a Flow, TL28 or P35 too if you want a tyre that big though, hard to get the best out of a big tyre w/o a bigger rim. I'm quite happy on a Purgatory 2.2 on a P35 a the moment, as I read somewhere, big (28, or better, 35mm or more) rims mean most 2.2s ride like a 2.4 and 2.4s feel 'kin huge. At 16-18 psi it's quite true.
Sadly the latest Ralph 2.4 isnt as big as it used to be....bit like Yorkie bars 😥
from my shed notes:
RR2.4 @ 35mm rim = 61mm wide
RR2.4 @ 20mm rim = 60mm
WTB 2.55 @ 35mm rim = 60mm
Ignitor 2.1 @ 20mm = 52mm
thanks guys any photos please?
A 26" 100mm wide Surly Clown Shoe rim with a 4.5" Big Fat Larry = 29" diameter as well.

AWESOME love them were can i get my hands on a nice fat rim and tyer for my 29er please guys need help here ,thank you
Charlie the bikemonger will build you a nice fat wheel. Alternatively, I bought a 47mm wide trials bike rim from Tartybikes, built up on a 135mm singlespeed rear hub and stuck a Surly Enabler fork on front of my 29er. Think you could also go with a Kris Holms unicycle 29er rim. My standard set up is aP35 with Ardent 2.4.
OK peanut i will kris holms 29er rim ,thanks for your help bud nice 1

Cooooooool! Jeff Jones ?
bloody awesome ,love it
You are The Man! Endomorph on front tho?
peanut how much was your rim?
Mine was a 'top of the range' Trials bike rim from Tartybikes. A 'Trialtech SL' about £60 I think, its the one used on the "Sandman bikes'. They have cheaper ones, still 47mm wide in single or double wall from about £35 or so. Way cheaper and lighter than the Surly options.
hey peanut i cannot see your email, but thanks for your help ,i o you a beer bud.if i go for the 47mm wide rim what sort of tyre will i be able to put on please?thanks for your time and help
So to be clear these are 26" rims that with a real fat tyre like the Surly Nate or Larry will become a 29er size wheel to match your 29er on the rear yes? Therefore you will need an Enabler fork or similar to take the 4" tyre width. Also, you will need to use a rear hub 135mm for the fork, a singlespeed one works best cos no dishing. This effectively becomes a fat-front 29er or a half-fat 29er. Your other option is the Kris Holm freeride 29er rim for any standard 29er tyre.
Hope this helps. I'll drink a virtual beer on you, cheers!
thanks peanut may the force be with you ,thanks for help advice top man 😀

That's exactly what I did for mine - just got finished building it up today.

sam thats awesome mate love well smart going to email you
Hey Sam,
should have said that yeah my half -fat is on one of your Pegasus frames. Its a cool set up but I do notice the extra heft. Had to gear down the ss to 34-20 from 34-18 but am also running the q-rotor which I think helps.
