That's it, that's all.

Answers on a postcard. Or in this thread - probably easier for everyone.

Never mind. realised I was searching for esi grips white stay white in the shopping department of google.

They don't. Obviously they don't. But off-white is going to work better anyway!

As you were.

I wouldn't buy anything other than black. I had some yellow ones which went manky very quickly.

My wife's red ones still look ok.

She never rides it mind you...

My red ones are somewhat less red now than they were when I put them on new at the beginning of the year.

Isopropyl alcohol cleans yellow and green ones pretty well. Prob other colours too.

slight hijack while were on the ESI subject.
Mine are a year and a bit old now and starting to spin at the end, is this just dirt getting under and not gripping or do they eventually stretch?

Think they stretch, mine are ok but getting looser.

They scrub up well, I can get my green ones back to a slightly faded but clean green!

Cheers njee, I think off-white/ cleanable sounds acceptable, rather than irretrievably disgusting very quickly. Attempting to white-and-silverify the wife's bike for her.

On the stretchy subject, they definitely break down over time. Especially if you've manhandled them on and off a few pairs of bars. The set I've done that with are baggy and squidgy compared to the set that have stayed put.

They're infinitely better than 'normal' rubber grips, which tend to be irretrievable.

Just don't do what I did once and do the drivetrain with a scrubbing brush, then instantly do the grips ๐Ÿ˜ณ
