I know its the daily mail and mumsnet, teo of STW'ers favourites but - Seriously?
It's a cartoon, and one of the best for kids on TV IMHO
Besides muddy puddles are fun!
If parents are that concerned maybe they should be spending longer bringing their kids up to know right from wrong rather than relying on TV to do it for them

Peppa Pig is ace! I've enjoyed watching it with my two boys.
Remember, it's the Daily Mail, they'll be back on the dole scroungers / asylum seekers / Diana conspiracy before you know it.

Peppa Pig is ace.
My kids jump in puddles and answer back - but that's because they're kids (and their dad does it).

reading the comments is still keeping me amused, there is some absolute classics this place would be proud of -
"I grew up watching Tom and Jerry, and spent my childhood sliding under doors, hitting people with sledgehammers, and swallowing furniture. Never did me any harm"
"I made the mistake of letting my 4 year old read this newspaper and she is constantly trying to run into the road into busy traffic. When I try to stop her she starts screaming at me saying I am part of an "Elf n Saftey Stasi" and throwing a tantrum. She has started developing an unhealthy obseession with Kim Kardashian and the private lives of of celebrities and wants to take innapropriate photos of them on the beaches when they are on holiday. When I took the tree down a few days ago she started accusing me of trying to ban Christmas. She is out of control and I have had to stop letting her read this newspaper"

Does Peppa Pig cause or prevent cancer? That's the real issue!
If we eat her: http://kill-or-cure.heroku.com/a-z/p#term227 or http://kill-or-cure.heroku.com/a-z/m#term254

Theres me thinking that Peppa Pig is a cartoon and not a life coaching programme for children.
WTF Do parents think will happen if they prop their children up in front of the TV from dawn to dusk every day. Perhaps if they took a bit more responsibility for their childrens upbringing rather than trying to blame popular culture for the root of their childs problems they wouldn't have these issues in the first place.Posted 4 months ago # -
My kids loved Peppa. Though they do love to quote the treehouse episode about "Daddy's big fat tummy"

My little angel (21 months) is a total Peppa addict. Seriously it is her crack.
Stack of Peppa DVDs and books, Peppa tops, Peppa hat, Peppa duvet, Peppa plates, Peppa soft toys, Peppa plastic toys, Peppa backpack...Her favourite phrase is (all cutesy) "Ah want Peppa. Pweeeease daddy, pweeeeeeeeease"
All good as far as I'm concerned as it means I can go back to my porn and beer.

A quote from the article:
'A day after watching that episode, my son wouldn’t eat his cucumber and tomatoes.’
Says it all really
Bloody do gooders again.....
I love Peppa Pig, or rather my kids do
But not after its been on repeat for the fifty fifth bloody time

Peppa Pig killed Princess Diana. Fact.

Magic roundabout turned me into a stoned hippy with floppy ears, then it got worse and captain pugwash made me Roger the cabin boy*, kids these days have it easy
*I know its an urban legend, but I was a deviant child.

Anyone been to Peppa Pig world?? Apparently we are scheduled a visit this year!!
Posted 4 months ago # -
Daddy pig is hilarious.. theres some great adult humour thrown in there that is way beyond the kids

"Daddy's big fat tummy"
This has been the magic word for the last month. The kids block the door and only let you in to the room after coming out with it.

He certainly does Big Barn Farm.

has anyone seen the infamous, banned final episode where they all get slaughtered and turned into bacon? Mmmmmmm, bacon
And I reckon Madame Gazelle is an illegal immigrant, coming over here, stealing our jobs and teaching unchristian Bing Bong songs...

the story's worked though. You lot enjoying reading the ads on the mail site?

What in your opinion is the ratio of trolls to real posters on the DM website?
Typical BBC rubbish should be taken off air immediately along with the entire vile leftist propaganda machine (although that is for another thread). All this program encourages is insolence and bad behaviour. My son was not allowed to watch TV until he was eight and he is a model of good manners.

You lot enjoying reading the ads on the mail site?
I have a Chrome browser extension that automatically redirects me to some nice, soothing pictures of tea and kittens if i accidentally click a link to the Mail or the Express.

Peppa Pig has been going for years and they've only just got around to realising how EVIL it is!?!?!
Next it'll be encouraging kids to have fun on BIKES!

I actually get slightly excited when an episode of PP I haven't seen appears on the Sky+ box. I do have children btw!
Posted 4 months ago # -
Shit only the other day I was commenting how well behaved Peppa is compared to my kids.
Oh and yes we also have the password is "Daddy's big tummy" here as well, love it!

Has anyone seen the Postamn Pat episode where he gets stuck in a tree ?
Posted 4 months ago # -
bloody stupid, Daily Fear has a lot to answer for.
Posted 4 months ago # -
Daddy Pig freewheeling down a hill on Peppa's bike:
"Ha ha.. now I can get fit without having to pedal."Posted 4 months ago # -
Peppa Pig is good, but not quite up to Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom standard
The episode where Gaston's cave gets flooded is a classic - talk about a modern commentry on dealing with builders
Posted 4 months ago # -
Parents on the Mumsnet site said that many toddlers had started arguing over what foods they liked and saying 'yuck' and 'no'
Lolz.. that's only because of Peppa Pig, clearly!
