Don't worry I know how to use them but I don't know....

Do discount codes work with them?

The small print says "Can be used for part payment only", wtf does this mean... I have £100 voucher and a can make my order up to £75 (only because a m8 want a helmet from them - hense discount code query).
Any experiences?

PS: Yes I've emailed them but my m8 wants his helmet ordered today... and I have always had replies from them but not particularly speedy ones

PPS: if they actually had the helmet in I want I just order that... ffs, nothing is ever easy.

Pick up the phone and ask, rather than run to the keyboard?

Part payment means the order total needs to be greater than the e-voucher value, i.e. you always have to spend that little bit more.

I think discount codes do work with them. Try, its not going to hurt. Add discount code first, then voucher. If they can't be used together the site will remove the discount.

the check out just has a fit at the fact I want £75 of stuff and am paying with a £100 e-voucher... very annoying.

Well eventually got through to them on the phone..they say I cannot use my £100 voucher for a lesser amount! Bizarre, they can't give me 'change' on a voucher (I'd accept another voucher).
Though the e-voucher should work with discount codes, I'd still need to order an extra £10 worth of kit to 'use' all the voucher.
****in ridiculous setup, and I don't want to spend that much with them, as they don't stock what I want.

it does work, i have done it before. couldn't you just order another gift voucher to make up the difference until you need something later on?

well the email it came on says no,

Gift Vouchers cannot be used as payment to purchase Gift Vouchers

but the website faq says yes...

You can purchase anything on the site using CRC gift vouchers. Click here to buy a gift voucher.

grrrr might have to call the back

give it a shot and see what happens? alternatively buy some cables/tubes/lubes/cleaning stuff etc that you will use one day and keep them in your bike box

With discount code UK (provided it still works) you will get £15 off £100 spend so you can order £115 worth of stuff and not pay for it theoretically

I can live with it, but my m8 want a new helmet... trying to call em again now!

Good idea though, worth asking...

Yay a nice lady there has sorted me out, they've exchanged my £100 vouchers for small amounts, so I can spend my £75.. just got to wait for there email with the codes!

Oh and they said they couldn't accept voucher as payment for vouchers.
Didn't MTG have a thread a while back about trying it using their voucher system?

EDIT: it was about 'trying it on' to increase there value with the system... not to worry.

so am I! Cheers for the suggestion, as I wouldn't have kept hassling them otherwise & ended up with bits I didn't need (I have enough of them already)
