Size 16 in each is identical, the BFe just being more, err, beefy.
Check the top piece here for the difference the fork travel makes -

My gritstone BFe arrived today. It is a really well made frame that looks both graceful and built for purpose. The reflective decals are different but not gimmicky, they go from being invisible to silver, taking in rose gold on the way. Im waiting on a delivery so I can complete the build, I hope it's all here in time for Christmas. I really really can't wait to ride it. Big thanks to the guys at Cotic and to stevede.

Rarely has any bike looked more right than the orange Soul. Getting it in any other colour is like buying a Ferrari or Ducati in anything other than red. You can, but why would you?

Souls definitely look nice in orange.
If I got a replacement one I'd be going orange.
Black looks good as well though...
Love the first shot Rich

Only large left in Orange at the mo

Buy a Stanton Slackline you cheapskate
It doesn't matter what you get mate cos we all know you can't ride for $hite

The pics of the Soul generally make it look redder that it really is. (My pics do too). It's properly orange. RichS' pic is the closest to how it looks to the eye.
Though I don't know that I'd use colour to choose between a BFe and a Soul.
If you need the strength of a BFe that's what you should get. If you don't need it, get a Soul.

OK as someone says there are no small Orange Souls, so if you want one now it has to be black. I wouldn't let that put me off, the black looks good too.

Took my new build out for its first ride today, muddy.....

Sorry about the shite picture!Posted 5 months ago # -
my mate just got a large orange one, to replace his recent RTA write off
its sat in the shed with some forks just now, waiting for a set of wheels and some bits and bobs in the new year.

Does anyone ride one with pikes? Lokoking to combine my 2 hardtails into one - currently ride a duster and an mmmbop thinking the soul would be like a longer duster
Posted 5 months ago # -
I didn't like pikes on my soul. Felt too, well, rigid...
Replaced them with F120's which I like much better.

Fenlandavid, what length stem is that mate?
Posted 5 months ago # -
Hi Catflees, its 90mm with a 10deg rise

Thanks, I'm borrowing a few stems to get an idea of the length I need before I buy one. I was thinking around 90 max. Really nice looking bike. Hope you enjoyed getting it muddy.

Yes, yes. The garden's a **** state...
Posted 5 months ago # -
No worries, and thanks! Yes had a good ride, however it killed me as I had not even sat on a bike for a year and a half due to medical reasons.
90mm is fine for the frame, I am not sure I would go longer.
Have the joy of cleaning it tomorrow

17.5" Soul with gnarlier build (gone 1x9 since this was taken).

One bike for everything (that I can/want to ride...)

My not so blue BFe during a trip out to Swinley yesterday, perfect day for riding, shame about the photo quality!

Medium Soul with a 80mm stem, 2x9 and coil Sektors, on Garburn Pass.
I think the orange frame can handle white forks but the blue frame has to run with black, IMO. I have a gritstone Bfe too but would prefer that in blue I think.
