Saw this happen to a Scott and I think they warrantied it.

Yep, was Olly’s. Scott replaced it.

Very slight modification to one cage. Bendy stuff titanium!
Top marks to Scott, bet Olly was dead chuffed, whoever he is.

[EDIT in view of what Mr Rat just said] That is more likely to be a warranty issue. Same happened to my Yeti ASR-C, sent it back for a repair, they found a hairline crack on the BB shell, around 4mm long and sent me a whole new frame 😀

Glad to hear it! I’ve had a sneaky look at mine, i.e I took some paint off, and apart from the crazing on the rear stay, I’m not too worried.

I have a carbon road frame that had the front wheel axle vibrating against it in transport wear/smash a hole through it. The repair cost about 80 quid and its about 10 times the size of that!

Once that hole gets a bit of epoxy/hardener in it.. I reckon it would be fine for life. Forget spending money on kits with woven sheets and just get the epoxy etc.

That hole kinda creeps me out.

Make sure it doesn’t get wet as that will really cause problems.
