Does anyone know where you can buy multiples of the anchovies things for sensible money? I thought I'd found some on fleabay but they turned out to be for motorcycles and HUGE!

Looking for around 20 ish

Blimey I've used about 5 in the last 8 years of running tubeless!

I cut them half before use but even so 20's a lot of holes the sealant doesn't fill ๐Ÿ™‚

Maxalami.de have an online shop where they sell 10x3.5mm packs for 10EUR and 5x6mm for 5EUR.

I've had a bit of a rush on them, lots of flinty bits in dusty trails wrecking havoc. I've used 2 on one ride recently. Good call on cutting them but didn't think of that before I was down to 1

The motorcycle/car ones are made up of lots of skinny ones lightly glued together.

If you pick at the end of a big one you will find the small ends, pull along the length and then cut in half for extra yield.

I thought we had it there but sadly the delivered ones seem to be solid, certainly not peeling apart

Could be worse, put 4 holes in my tyres in one hit last weekend. Also now on the hunt for a supply of repair kit

Thanks out for the link, but as I indicated in the first post (although maybe not crystal clear) I have purchased some from eBay and they have been delivered but are far too large for bicycle tyres, they're for cars/motorcycles.

Rather than making the same mistake again I was after a definate supplier

Even if you tease the end of the big one open with a knife, starting to slice it lengthways?

The ones I have seem pretty solid/dense at first but once you get the first piece loose they are like a rubbery rope with the strands spiralling along the length.

ETA: 2? 4? Amateurs.

(Yes, slime filled, but it can only do so much.)

I got 10 of the 4mm ones recently for 2.50 delivered. You must've ordered the 7mm ones, that's your mistake. Plenty of the right size on ebay.

Yeah just had look for these myself and found 2 sizes. Here are some 4mm ones: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TUBELESS-TYRE-REPAIR-KIT-INSERTS-PLUGS-STRINGS-4-x-20-STRIPS-/141035220559?hash=item20d65aae4f
