So we’re getting all set to go with the first race of our 2011 series at Lee Quarry- the free skills training session is in full swing right now up there for the have-a-go heroes entrants that nabbed a spot, we’re all ready to load all the kit into the van and get it up into the quarry at daft o’clock tomorrow morning for marking out the course and we’re set to have pretty good racing weather too so it’s all good!
Online entries have been closed for a couple of days but if you still want to enter you can do so tomorrow morning (cash only please!)- although pre-entries are the biggest we’ve had so far, we still have some room on the start line so if you’ve been undecided about it then get yourself down to the sign on tent tomorrow from 8.30am!
We’d still also be grateful for any offers of help with marshalling duties, so if you fancy coming along to watch and don’t mind helping ensure the race goes off nice and smoothly, then ideally drop us an email on info@brownbacksracing.co.uk to let us know, or just turn up at about 8.30ish and let one of the organisers know. We’ll kit you out with the stuff you need- radio, hi-vis vest, flag and also you’ll get a Buff sponsored marshal goodie bag plus entry to the marshal prize draw (£50 top prize there!)…
