    Never used to – but do now. Navy (almost black) trousers, brown shoes, brown belt.

    Brown shoes with grey or blue trousers.
    Black shoes with any trousers.
    Belt ALWAYS matches shoes.

    If you have Italian shoes and Italian cut trousers, then match a belt and away you go.

    If, however, you a pasty faced Briton, stick with black/black.

    I've worn a black suit with brown shoes and belt many times….. I think (as do many others) that it looks cool 🙂

    Also don't care much for fashion….
