Are they “generally” all the same size? I’m looking to replace the unused & unsightly shiny silver bolts on my frame (bottle cage bolts, front mugguard bolts etc etc) with black bolts, lower-profile as possible?

OR are there any plugs I can use instead?

    Yup M5.

Don’t you ever put bottles in them?

Why are they still there? Surely these days bottle holders are about as superfluous as rack mounts?

i still use a bottle, even in the alps.

why would i want to unnecessarily lug a bag around on my back?

    disk bolts.

Low profile (which is why they are used on disk rotors) and tend to be black and flush.

also, if you loose a rotor bolt, you have spares

if you lose a rotor there’s hardly any point putting bolts back in your hub

I agree, it’s wonderful how the human body has evolved to not need to drink and how we now have robots to carry our good for us.

M5 motorcycle fairing bolts can be found cheap on the net. Plus they come in red – which will make you go faster – obviously.
