You miserable gits - I know who you are

Why would I want to ride over to an overpriced event on my local trails, which I rode yesterday, having a small input on the course with the course designer whilst there, just to hear some tinpot, bunch of spotty teens trying to be hip and cool?
Besides, a new puppy arrived today so I've got my hands full.

you could be sat at home 100 miles away with a broken arm swollen to the size of a marrow whilst a dozen of your mates text you updates on how well "your" team are doing and how much fun the group is having.
All about perspective I guess. And congrats to Mark aka Pedalhead on STW for 2nd in the solo singlespeed cat.

I'd be more annoyed if i were racing today...sunny, dry and dusty yesterday.......muddy and raining today.
It was lovely up there last night when i stopped by the pits. Plus my commute route will now be a muddy mess for the next few days!!!!

I suspect the music was probaby from BrisFest (or whatever it's called) rather than bike fest anway.

yeah was riding the event yesterday...
the trail were cool and so were the tunes! :D...although I much preferred the DJs selection to the band that came on after the prizes--but that's just personal taste I geuss!Posted 11 months ago # -

I can sympathise, sitting here as I am with a broken ankle!
I love Bikefest, and I'll hopefully be back next year
