Looking to go and ride up and down Snowdon on Saturday, so wondering if anyone could recommend a decent, reasonable cost B&B with secure bike storage in Llanberis or nearish.

This place has a good reputation:

Jesse James’ bunkhouse.
Bit rough and ready, a hostel rather than a B & B, but cheap and convenient.

This one Glyn Afon,looks good, says they’re cyclist friendly too.

(It’s not the place in the photo btw. Never looked at the site before, but the upper building in the picture is our Climbing Club hut – small world eh?)

For food, Y Caban is superb, not far from Jesse James’ either. Bit more expensive than Pete’s Eats in Llanberis but so much nicer. You might have to book on a Saturday, would be worth phoning to check.
The chippy in Llanberis is superb, as is the Ice Cream place opposite Pete’s.
