Ray Eden was the longest serving member of the Planet X staff and was sadly murdered earlier this year. His son Finn, has reached the last four of the AXA Insurance Ambition awards for sport. Finn is an abitious rower with Ray’s determination to succeed.

The award is worth up to £40,000 over four years and you can help Finn by voting for him on the following link, the person with the most votes in the next four days wins, its as clear as that.

Please click the link and vote for Finn in memory of Ray, thanks a lot.

Edited as obviously my comments have been misinterpreted. I meant no offence.

    Voted, good luck to him.

I admire your support for a friend, but personally I think each candidate should be considered on their own merit, in terms of their abilities and potential, regardless of other sentiment.

Sorry, don’t want to seem callous or owt, just that all the other candidates will have worked just as hard probably, and each have their own stories which we aren’t aware of.

And they will have their supporters doing exactly what Brant is doing.

Elfin, you really are a horrible loathsome little man.

Elfin there really are times when you should keep your thoughts to yourself

Why bother posting? Just vote for who you think deserves it or no one at all. No need to come on here and spoil a thread particularly when it is regarding his murdered friends kid. Tasteless to say the least.

Voted. Good luck to him for getting so far, the rowing is far from ideal in Doncaster, there is hardly a straight couple of hundred yards in the river between the Sprotborough and town locks, and a lot of debris in the channel most of the year. If he’s going to progress he’ll need loads of travelling, and that won’t be easy with Ray gone, the money will help a lot with that if he wins.
