    I've got a new laptop and want to sync my iPod, but that will delete all my music. I've been told that copytrans will allow me to copy everything on my iPod onto my laptop, then I can continue as begore.

    Has anyone any experience of these people? Does the software work, or do I risk losing everything?

    i have used copytrans in the past but more recently i used TuneAid;

    which seemed easier to use and it transfered films, pics etc. It did not put all my music into the playlists though even though it is advertised as doing so. Neither did Copytrans

    Cant you just use the function on itunes to back up your old computer files. Put them onto your new computer and bobs your uncle.

    Or do you not still have the old computer?

    No old computer went bang, big style, so I lost everything that wasn't backed up. Did'nt back up iTunes – there's so much! Everything else was backed up to date – fortunately.
