Yesterday, in order to get to a bothy in the middle of nowhere (down tracks/up hills that Defenders can’t cope with) to find a suicidal missing person, 3 of us travelled in one of these, so for a couple of hours I guess it counted as a police car. Either way, it’s an incredible machine!

Franklin Roosevelt’s train which he’d take from Grand Central Station to the Wardorf Astoria’s own private underground station. He was able to be driven in his car…

… straight off the mainline train, into this one, the from the underground station, still in his car take a lift up into the garage of the hotel. All to avoid having to be seen using his wheelchair by the pubic.

Which was a pity really as his wheelchair looked ace
