Anyone ordered anything directly from them. I ordered an XX1 spiderless ring a couple of days and have heard nothing since?

Bought twice off them with no issues, communication was a bit slow but was just after they announced the ovals and got a bit overwhelmed.

Got an oval ring a couple of months back. Did take a while but they did let me know.

I bought an oval ring from them. When I ordered the site said deliveries wouldn't be sent until x date and that is exactly what happened, no problem. At the time they appeared to be permanently out of stock with batches sold before they arrived.

Shamefully I haven't got around to fitting it yet and I'm itching to know what it's like to pedal.

The site says in stock so hopefully it arrives in a day or two.

Anyone tried the hubs?

They're expensive and unproven, but...but.....MAGNETS

There cassette converters replace 4 sprockets
Why don't they just make a complete cassette?

Small aluminium cogs would wear very fast.

I have the converter, I like it. That combined with an XT cassette gives a 11-40 that's lighter than an XTR 11-36

Good timing, mine arrived this morning. All in all that was ordered 22nd December, dispatched 6th January, delivered 14th- not the snappiest but it's really nicely made etc, looking forward to trying it. Can't decide what bike to put it in, I can't decide whether it's more #enduro or singletracktitaniumhardtail.

Did you get an order confirmation, only thing i have is the normal Paypal receipt, nothing from AB. Really bugs me when companies leave you in the dark.

I saw some of their stuff in a shop recently. Looked nice but I've been tricked that way before

What size are people ordering? Was going to go 34T chainring with 42T on the back, not sure whether to drop to 32T with one of these?

Mine is a 34T, to go with a oneup expander 42T on the back. I've been using a 32T for about a year and been very happy with it but I've always been curious about the oval thing so that's basically the motivation

Is that 32T with the expander on the back or just 11-34/36?

Well, 2 bikes, one with an expander and one with just an 11-36. But I think this is going on the big bike which has the expander.

(the hardtail's 32T front, 11-36T rear which is fine for the jobs it does but the #enduro rig does the harder riding and there's no chance I could make 11-36 work with that one.)

Cheers Northwind, think I'll try the 34T and man up if it's the wrong choice ๐Ÿ™‚
