Yes this is a blatent plug and I will send a drink or 2 to the management

This is a CNC`d housing for the perfect helmet light or bar light
there is even a discount for the leds optics and Maxflex at Cutters
    for more info ask
and if you dont want to do it yourself then I will do it for you at a small cost

very small but very powerfull and will probably use your existing battery

If you are serious mail me
the housing is £ 50 plus pp

the led kit from cutters is 120 aus dollars +pp or £53.66 today +pp

you then need a switch and power conector

output on full is 1164 lumens with R2 leds
and with the soon available R3s 1326 lumens these are of course max ammounts

it mounts to the helmet with a simple velcro strap or to the bars with most clamps you just need to drill a hole and bolt it on

6 of diamonds Dont know lost that out the pack

will you not need sunglasses to use all 1326 lumens?
Beautiful but you are a lumen whore and you know it
PS I own a previous Trout light and cannot recomend it highly enough near indestructable and still going strong. He even answers your querries when you admit you cant even wire a plug in properly!!!

well played – the deceptively subtle buildup meant the latter part caught me off guard, causing an embarrassing desk-based laugh concealment 😆

Trout, sir, that is a fantastic piece of work. I’m most impressed, and I’m trying to work out how I can afford one at the mo’, as I’ve rather committed to a pair of forks from classifieds. I’ll keep a bookmark of this thread and get in touch later.

That is a lovely thing and I’m also interested – email addy in profile. I’d need the option for dummies of getting a built one. Would it run from a 14.4V Li-ion battery?

    Mr Nutt
    I hope so .
no it wont take p7s they are so yesterday 🙂
XPE is the future , cable is where ever you want , and switch is also whatever you want . it is diy after all . and yes you can have a matching soapdish.

    swiftacular.
the original idea was just the housings for the diy builders
but as I am an underworked floor layer at the moment then a few quid is better than nowt so yep i will build some up , the list is a bit long and i am going to be a bit busy in the freezing garage.

    Smudge I agree totally .

no problems it could be a while before I catch up with the back log now. 😀

Cant you put it all into one tidy unit ala Exposure Lights 😀 And can you make it smell of candyfloss as well 😉

Would be interested to see a ‘full build’ before I go and buy a MAXX D this week.

That would be defeating the object have you tried an integrated battery light combo on your lid .

yes it does smell of candyflos if you want it to .

anyone in west yorkshire can pop in and have a look at one built and working.

thanks all who have emailed me . I will get back to you but it has gone a bit crazy in my inbox so just bear with me

Really not bothered about it on my lid, dont see the point. 720 lumens on the bars makes a headlight pretty worthless. 1000 lumens plus and it really isnt worth it bar for fixing punctures!

Just want to get away from the wires is all, fed up of them 🙁

    Nice work though fella
