[Closed] 44mm headset for ragley blue pig

I had loads of problems finding the right headset for XX44 head tubes.

I managed to find a Nukeproof in the end, but after much searching about.

Madison now have their own XX44 headset for less than £50 - Google 'Elite X44'. Evans are doing them for £40.

Or Hope do a '2H' combination of upper and lower Cups, but would end up costing a lot more than £50.

£28 an end for the Hope ones - I'd look no further.

Whatever headset you get, make sure it's and external lower cup otherwise you may end up with clearance issues with your fork crown.

If you go with Hope, get the H lower cup.

No.

CRC do not stock the H lower cup (that i can see at least). There are few shops that list the cup as 'in stock'.

Google 'Hope H Lower Cup' and click on the shopping results.

Merlin cycles have them in stock

I have emailed CRC about them in the past when merlin were out of stock and they said they do not stock them, i guess it would be in conflict with the the nuke proof ones they sell.
