    Altura Attack Extreme from Merlin – with a good fiver to spare too. Bargain – the RRP is something like £140, I think. A touch warm sometimes but a good breathable waterproof and sensible toughness to for mountain biking.

    pace 3×3 its basic with only one large back pocket but it does what its supposed to i.e keeps you dry without being too sweaty (it just works)

    Altura Attack Extreme, in fact I did- one of the best jackets out there at a great price. Can't be beat IMO. though I do wish it had arm vents.

    Another vote for the Altura AE. Having had Event I wouldn't go back to it.
