UPDATE: Reviews section refreshed, redesigned, searchable: Go take a look
Having a little problem with my clarks hydraulic brakes. I can't seem to push the pistons back to the original position. I've tried using a screwdriver to lever them back with no luck. They also look slightly wonky. Any advice on what I could do?
let some fluid out, sounds like they might be overfilled
thanks, what's the easiest way to do that?
If they look wonky, then you've probably got them cocked in the bore. If you can get a screwdriver right the way through the caliper body, you can apply pressure on both edges of the piston, and hopefully winkle it back into it's correct position, they're a snug fit and need to be pushed in straight otherwise they'll jam like yours.
Cheers, will give that a go and let you know how I get on.
