A Christmas message from Chipps
Like the Queen’s speech but shorter and with more sheep
Dear friends,
What a year! No one needs reminding of the trials, tragedies and minor inconveniences of 2020, so I just wanted to thank you all for your support this year and for supporting us all here at Singletrack in so many ways.
2020 has been a great year for taking stock of what we do have and what we truly value. For me, this has involved appreciating my friends, far and wide, re-learning to love where I live and ride and appreciating the great times as they’re happening, whether that’s a solo evening ride, a virtual beer with friends or just a really good cheese sandwich.
Whatever 2021 brings, we know that the mountain bike community still stands strong and those moments of quiet solitude, or shared joy with friends stands us in good stead for whatever the year ahead brings. And hopefully, it’ll bring sunshine, rides with friends, events, races and a year of dusty trails. Hey, we can all hope, right?
