1995? That’s pretty young actually.
If you REALLY have to do something with it…… then how about an electric conversion?
TBH…… I would just leave it as it is. Once you take into consideration the carbon-footprint of actually…[Read more]
I would heartily recommend Bricket Wood Premier Inn.
Only a stones throw from the studios.
Even has a duck pond and a kids play park within its grounds.
We stayed at it a few years ago when the Studios first opened.
Even has a canal/towpath/wooded area out the back of the hotel for a cheaky wee ride/run in the morning.
Nah mate. Social Services have a rubber stamp with the letters “N.F.H” on it. That situation was entirely “Normal for Haldon.”
The thing that put the shits up me one night at Haldon was, as I was doing the fire-road climb from the top of the Black I happened upon a car with a hastily scribbled sign in the window which read “Punish me…. make…[Read more]
ahhhhh!!!!!! I get it!
Sorry, when you said “I spend £20k-£30k on IT kit each month”….. i thought that YOU spend £20k-£30k on IT kit each month!! LOL Didn’t realise that it was the firm you work for and not ACTUALLY YOU who was paying!
Ohhhh what am I like! God, i’d forget my own head if it wasn’t screwed on!
Sorry…… You lost all sympathy when you said you spend THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY THOUSAND POUNDS every year on I.T.
My heart bleeds for you and your wee bathroom woes.
It think your sink taps are probably worth more than my entire bathroom ecombined.
Hi Favouredimage…… Are you in England, Wales or Scotland?
Have a look at the registration plate again….
Is it in the format of 3 letters followed by 3 or 4 digits? ie GBZ 8008 ?
If it is then there is a good chance it is not actually a “private plate” but is actually a car from Northern Ireland.
A lot of people consider these “private…[Read more]
Some would say that the interview is not really the problem. Some might say that the real problem is the feeling of leaving the RAF after TWENTY TWO years…..
It’s a big, scarey leap into the unknown. Twenty two years is a long time. Plenty of time to get institutionalised. Leaving everything you know, must feel something like the “Brooks…[Read more]
Ohhhh….. and stay away from any resorts using Chambery Airport. I’ve just had some friends have their entire holiday cancelled on them after sitting on the runway at Exeter for 6 hours. ALL Crystal Ski planes from all over UK were unable to fly yesterday as Chambery was all fogged in.
Apparently its quite common at Chambery.
Also, get a copy…[Read more]

“Boosted” you say, my good man?
If that is the case, no immobiliser nor alarm will prevent the professional thieves involved from stealing your lovely automobile.
I suggest the “Five O” should be looking out for the cast of “Gone in Sixty Seconds.”
Hi Kimbers….. He built up the business and is still a share holder. He will come out of prison at some stage (in 6 years I think) and will continue to live a very comfortable life on the dividends, all paid for my unknowing customers who think Greggs is awesome cuz they have a large high-street presence and do “amazing” steak bakes.
Some genuinely really interesting views on here.
Really interested to hear that the “moral red line” has been draw regarding ‘Spoons and Brexit and that some people are reluctant to even set foot in the place.
I wonder if those same people have drawn a similar “moral red line” when it comes to Greggs and Colin Greggs conviction reported in the…[Read more]

56? Fifty-Six? FIFTY-SIX……!!!!!!????????
Everybody knows that the human body is not designed to do anything more physically taxing than drinking tea passed the age of 23.
I’m 46 and somedays need help to climb the stairs and find my own clothes. (Think it has something to do with not smoking Woodbines like Ginger and Bertie used to do…[Read more]
Are modern bikes really that bad? Have I dodged a bullet by not buying into the marketing hype regarding materials and geometry?
I haven’t bought a new bike in what feels like decades as I simply couldn’t afford one. (Getting my head around the nearly £2k needed to buy my first and only full-sus back in 2010 was hard…[Read more]
What a brilliant thread!
Yeah…… you are right…… when I was out today getting covered in mud and having a hoot ragging around Haldon in the blessed sunshine I suddenly realised that my SA was 0.35 degrees too steep. God, it really brought my mood down. I came home in a real grump.
I forgot all about the Deer I saw and the fast…[Read more]
