@ratherbeintobago You remove the tank and plug the hose into the valve that draws water from the tank. The pipe has a filter on it so you can dump in pretty much any water source as well. Accessory Kit
The battery seems to last for ages, I’ve had it running for quite a while washing the bike when I was lazy and let the mud harden!
@ratherbeintobago it works fine, the 4l tank is fine for when the bike is still freshly muddy. As soon as it dries you’ll need more water. Which is where the additional pipe comes it, also got the car charger so I’m never without juice.
@ratherbeintobago – normally I’d agree with you but at the bottom of Stainland Road in West Vale they’ve just started 10 weeks of gas main replacement ☹️
West Vale is crap on a normal day at rush hour. I’d avoid it.
Anyone know of bibs with a phone pocket?
@ratherbeintobago – I’ve some older Castelli Free Aero’s which have a small pocket on the back, but suspect it’s sized for race radio and is much too small for most phones. Rapha do a ‘gravel’/travel bibshort with pockets on the legs that could be a better bet.

@ratherbeintobago – what you’re describing is a welfare van – the type you see on construction sites, motorway maintenance etc. They have a toilet, seating for the workers and power for kettles microwaves etc. Most have diesel heaters too.
