I live so close to my sons school we take a detour just to make the walk worth while, my neighbour is even closer and drive his kid to school but the drive takes longer then the walk as he has to go around the one way first but the real piss take is hevis not of to work afterwards. No he drives back home.

    Eazy-E – Boyz In Da Hood: https://youtu.be/fGeNDnYcQOA

Then it would turn in to some og this

Buju Banton – Wanna Be Loved: https://youtu.be/YwSU0rcVTaE

Buju Banton ft. Marlon Asher – Ganja Farmer: https://youtu.be/YHwZ9-qqFN8

    Then this
Bob Marley & the Wailers – Bad Card: https://youtu.be/Fr_eXMf7Wb0

Then might slow it down to this

Get Here (if you can) – Oleta Adams: https://youtu.be/Z0WDS-EQoIM

Another good version of this song

Ruth Brown: ‘Get Here’ – The Voice UK – Live Shows 1 – BBC One: https://youtu.be/axvCQt4PetU

Then it follow a lot of this genre

Al Green – A Change Is Gonna Come: https://youtu.be/3Nua5klb4Os

    I am with the OP.
this is a accident that could have been avoided if the dog was under control via a lead.
Reflective coller, hi vis or flashing lights on the dog might have made a differnce too.

P.S I hope they find the dog and its in good health aswell, after all it was in a accident too.

My two cents is ” those that can teach… teach” has this option popped up for you?
Alternativly take some time out, maybe useing sick days for stress and focus on you a bit.

I have just recently buried my dad and it was his last lessson to me that life is to short and you are never to old for anything.
there is always a soultion however thinking on your thinking some times just over looks the correct answers.
First thing get that bike you have, stash some cash or a credit card in your pocket and go riding until you need dinner, b&b or even just late night coming home do that for a few days with out attending to anything else in life.

There is nothing wrong with crying, it is a raw emotion that needs to happen before the other emotions and process of dealing with a traumatic event or difficult situations can take place. Think of it like this, if you don’t cry it out then the next powerful emotion to force its way out is anger, and we all know that this always lead to others around you getting hurt.

A BIG WELL DONE FOR BEING IN TOUCH WITH YOUR SELF. :D

This is a good thread just to get it of your chest.

I haven’t been very happy recently the panic of there is nothing after death crept in a few weeks ago literally bringing me to my knees, but I have been dealing with this since I was a child and have managed to put of my mind for now.

Being out of work and having endless none productive interviews is niggling at me making me feel trapped, powerless and financially under pressure, with my partner supporting the house and me on her wage,
and then to top this all I am having very serious doubts about getting married next year plus there is another woman who I can’t get out my mind but we both have kids and respective partners so we just ignore our attraction all though I think both our other half’s suspect.
I just want to pack my bag some times and go

Why was you speeding did you not see any speed limit signs or just think 5 mph over the limit of a possible unsigned dual carriage way was acceptable?
As a cyclist I would assume you would be more attune to road safety, even more so that you have been on a awareness course.
Frankly you should not be asking whether to pay the fine or go to court, you shouldn’t have put your self in that position.
However if the dual carriage way was unsigned then you can be slightly forgiven for the +5mph over the standard unsigned limit and just pay the fine and be a better motorist .

Go to court and ask for the video evidence to show what the officer thought he saw as you definitely did not use a mobile phone whilst driving. also photograph the call logs incase in court he says he saw on put the phone to your ear and use it.
If ask by the court will did you accept the ticket if you was innocent you simply was in fear of being arrest as the officer had a aggressive intimidating manor

just leave the key in the lock half turned that way keys from the outside wont work and call the police every time he turns up

Wow look at where this thread has gone!
Just remember what ever lock you have make sure you lock it proper after that have house insurance, alarm and lock your house down by having locks on every room keyed alike for your convenience this would not look out of place with the right door furniture, all this will do is minimise lost and most important do not leave spare keys out put them in a hidden lock box

    @flatfish.
do you pick locks on most of your calls or do you have to drill them or even more old school impression them?
I went in to locksmithing with my mate when I was young we both worked for the same guy and master different skills, my mate is great at picking locks and I master key impressioning .
we where mainly city based in london and we really enjoyed it until we went self employed and being honest didn’t pay especially when other cocksmiths where just ripping customer off by drilling every lock out and charging ridiculous prices.
We then worked for the met police and customs for a few years until we both started family’s’ now and again one of us gets a call from family or or a old account client when theres a emergency but other then that our locksmithing days are over

I have a have a msr reactor already but wanted to move away from the bulk and weight.
The misses has got me a esbit stove for chrismas

    http://www.esbit.net/product-detail/items/CS585HA-hard-anodized-aluminiium-585ml-cookset.html

So I just wanted to know what people fault of them, I think I can use gel tabs with it!
any way my whole idea is to just have a cup that holds 500ml max and bring it to boil with the minimum about bulk to the burner and fuel, Any suggestion on another sub £50 cook system of the shelf would be welcome.
    thanks

I quit 1yr ago after just having enought of feeling sick and tired after boozing and finding it hard work enjoying MTBing
then found out that I had a liver infection, it is all cleared up now thankfully but its amazing how some times the body says to stop but the mind is lacking, this is where your love for your self and bikes should come in.

If you are trying to stop drinking full stop then replace it with More biking or learning a subject of interest.
Also be prepared for a few week of depression when quiting out right and do your best to keep busy leisurely.
    GOOD LUCK

this problem could drive a person nuts,
My eldest only eat chesse and chip at one point for ages he now eat what ever and every thing.
My 2 year old did not eat any thing apart from porridge and noodles for 1year he now eats most stuff.
All the advise above seems correct.

never make eating stressful for you or them, cook your food ask him if he want some if he say no tell him you will put some weetabix in a bowl for him then.
Dont ask him to eat them just put it on the table and repeat morning, lunch time and evening then progress to serving your food up at the table from serving dish to your plates and in a week may be amonth he will eat from them to.
Also start useing your hands to eat certain thing and cook and serve finger food a few times a week.
    Next is patients

    Again thanks for every thing.
So far between a group of us my friend is back on a bike for the mean time.
I have loaned&shipped a abus lock and coil lock with detailed locking instruction and tips.

Bits i have in shed already are
    Frame, old on one
    Rear disc hub , shimano
    Brake levers,
    bars ,spesh

My hardest part will be the fork so i may ebay the above lot and put the cash towards her new one.
Thanks again every one for the offer but i think we have it covered for here.

Hello every one, thanks for the support thats come through and the generous offers to help get her back on a bike.
At the moment, we have managed to get her a loan bike for now, whilst me and my partner sort her out something by the end of the summer using some spare parts and selling some to buy others. What would help her out now would be a wee-ride child seat so she can get out and about now. If anyone has one not in use that they would be happy to lend/give her, she would be very grateful.
Again, thanks for all the support

keep your eyes out on the usual sites for the parts & forks as thieves know selling a whole bike can be a bit to risky.
Where excatly in herts did the go from?
best of luck getting them back.

either the sun has got to some of the people on here or they spend to much time reading in to stuff.

its simple, please if any of you come a cross a white carrera valour that either has a wee ride seat on it, bares the scaring of a wee ride seat or someone selling this bike that is nearly new for a stupidly low price please let me know.

finaly thanks for the support from those that showed it and as for the others maybe you should get out for a ride.
