Bought a cheapo one from tescos 3 yrs ago. It doesn’t look the part but it pumps my tyres up just fine!

There could have been an innocent explanation. Perhaps he was fighting off an I’ll tempered toilet Troll…..
Still he’s probably dead now and you didn’t help.

Clearly late to this one. But haven’t lit up since Saturday – not been too bad so far either.
Had to give up caffeine recently as well :(

Making up for both though with a huge glass of vino!

I noticed a big difference when changing from slx to xt – although this was partly down to the xt shifters being much nicer.
Ran slx for over a year though with no issues. I tend to think that the shifting crispness comes from good shifters and new cables rather than the mech these days. (IMHO)

I’d be wary of going near. It could be a badger cunningly disguised in a spider suit.

    Bournemouth / Christchurch.
Go Christchurch if you want quiet beaches and nice scenery, Bournemouth end if you want it busier and more going on.
Burton Bradstock is my favourite though.

I go to Ibiza a lot (kind of similar to Majorca ish) and we always find that it’s cheaper to book flights and accommodation separately, although we do tend to go out of season which may make a difference. It also has the benefit of not having to deal with tour reps or have the inevitable coach transfer from hell with the other holibob makers- which is quite a plus if you ask me! Also means you can book more than one hotel if you fancy staying in another resort or town for some of the nights.
Lowcostholidays website is good for accomodation only.

I went to the quaks about a mole a while back. He said he’d leave it as it’s probably fine. I’d have rather he didn’t say probably :/

Nobby nic front and Ralph rear works well for me – fast rolling but plenty of bite in the corners up front.
Might bung a Ralph on the front at some stage and see how that goes – they seem to have plenty of grip tbh.

Black bike and black tyres…. Works for me!

I have to admit to having lots of matching red bits though – so I do understand completely!

Might be worth trying the Moortown lodge Ringwood. That’s quite close.

    I feel your pain.
Bailed out on a ride on holiday in Ibiza 3 weeks ago. Landed fairly comfortably in some shrubbery but unfortunately the bike landed on me a few seconds later, with full force of spd pedal into my right hand side.
    It’s rather ouchy :(
I’ve sacked the ibuprofens now and am only riding the full suss, as the rigid forked hardtail does me no good at all.
I did the front of my ribcage in similar fashion about 3 years ago and it took around 6 weeks before the pain was mostly gone and I could sneeze without crying!
As far as recuperation goes – I’m settling for doing as much cycling as I can but going easy on the drops and jumps etc, I’m putting more effort into cycling shorter distances but faster than normal to keep fitness and to also keep me breathing deeply ( it’s probably not breathing as deep as usual due to the pain that’s making you wheezy chainslap).

Apparently pain is the sign of weakness leaving the body. So we should rejoice in the collective weakness we are losing…… Oh and try not to sneeze ;)

    Summer rocks!
Fast, dry, dusty, wax lube, no washing the bike, one layer of clothes, fast rolling tyres, evenings with no lights, less crap in the rucksack, extra protein from the occasional fly, and sunshine – glorious sunshine. Hell even the walkers seem happier!

Recently bought some of those from on one. Running 2.25 nobby nics and there’s acres of space. They look to be the same size as the rebas they replaced and I managed 2.4 nics in those, although it wasn’t that muddy. Would have thought you’d be fine.
Nice forks as well btw. Very pleased with mine

My old inbred worked a treat with 120s.
Climbed well and descended like a wild out of control thing (maybe that part was down to me)

Applied for two £20 Womens mtb and two £45 men’s mtb tickets. Looks like we’ve got the men’s but not the Womens. Have to say I’m quite pleased with that as I only went for the Womens as I thought we may not get the men’s tickets.
Will probably go and watch the road ride as a freebie as well mind :)

Need someone to get ahead of the redbulls at the start. Hamilton is due a good start as well – hopefully he’ll make up some places by the first corner. Again though it’s going to be all about the rubber!

I used them. Liked them in general but were too scetchy on the front wheel for me. Especially on Tarmac!

I sold my crossrides and bought some hope pro2/719s and they feel much stiffer. Didn’t really like the crossrides. Xt hubs need more looking after but dead easy to service as well.

Just fitted some 120mm Sid XX forks and very pleased. Was running 120mm blackbox reba teams prior. They are a bargainiferous £429 at On One and definately an improvement on the rebas that were also excellent to be fair!
