No need TJ. It’s They’ve already been invented and are called mountain bike gloves. They are nearly always multipurpose and can fit over grips or under bars perfectly whilst leaving hands free from gloves for maintenance.
I don’t know why gloves don’t seem to state this on their instructions.

I miss my inbred for its constant I’m going to die any minute feeling – the five Is far better but a different ride, I can push the boundaries much further now. I’m less mince and more mincecorre on the five. That said I’m off to Wales in a mo and fully expect to eat my words and feel the I’m going to die any minute feeling :/

I’d not bother for twenty quid to be honest. Far more hassle than its worth. I’d be tempted to spend a further fiver on postage to send the bloke a turd in a box though.

Learn to pump the trail. Even relatively flat singletrack will have enough features for you to borrow some energy from the trail itself.

I let an entire village of riders past on my first ride at afan years back, when it took me about 3 weeks to wobble my way to the bottom.
These days most people move over for me and I move over for most people.

I do recall a day out once when we stopped to give a bunch of newbies on a training day a few minutes head start and told the weirdybeardy guy behind why we’d stopped, he just blasted down anyhow nearly taking each of them out in the process. (perhaps he was going into labour)

Just fitted some v12s this week. Not used them yet though. I’ve only ever used spds so it’s going to be interesting (I’ve bought shin pads!)

The best rides always involve a bacon sandwich at middle beach and performance pasty at the square and compass !

I recall cycling back from the pub a couple of years ago. Took the off road route without lights and ended up lying in a massive pile of brambles after a rather drunken crash. Not a massive problem except it was so dark and I was so pissed that I had major trouble finding the bike afterwards :|

Have a similar size box waiting at the post office for me, it’s got a chain link in it. :|

Got some evo x2s on my new five and after bedding in they feel just as powerful as the non evo m4s that I had previously. Nice brakes – well impressed.

I cleaned mine out and used wet weather chain lube = nice and clicky!
