Good on yer. The first three months were a nightmare for me but don't think about it much now 1 year on. Still find myself smoking if I drink too much though – drinking must kill my will power

Cheers all. Will seek the quacks advice but will play around with the cleats aswell.
Am riding an inbred and saddle height seems right for me. Am wondering if I should have gone for the next frame size up as the seat has to be back as far as it can go – could seat back too far be a possible cause?

I like dogs and wouldn't want to hurt one. That said I like my legs more than I like dogs so legs would win out and dog would get one in the face.
I don't like the thought of hurting an animal but conversely I'll happily eat many of them. Which is odd.

Sorry to resurect an old thread. But…..
Reba teams. Working fine but needed a touch more air so had a wee tinker with them this morning and on releasing air from either end there appears to be green goo coming out of the air valves (only when releasing air mind) assuming a ghostbuster hasn't trapped the slimer in my forks should I be worried? I've never noticed the goo before and they seem to work fine it just seems a little concerning.

I had some spd shoes that were so rank that the cat hissed at them. Tried everything to de Ming them to no avail, I think they walked off of their own accord in the end

Yes indeed I couldt make it either and would like a gpx if that's possible. As there's a few of us after one might be an idea for one of us to load one up to bikely or similar , assuming we can have one of course. Failing that I'll blame it on colin if we get lost this Saturday ( hi col!)

    cheers (dan)

Either borrow one or spend the extra fiver – then you can go ride and all will be right with the world.

Rear mech is simples but front mechs do my head in when they don't have the spacer in to set them up. That said my rear mech system seems to be completely locking up sometimes when changing down to the smallest sprocket sometimes at the mo and I can't figure it :/

32 years old and never had a car. Love getting around on the bike. One thing is you'll want an old bike that you can ride to shops/pub and not have the concern of it being pinched, plus nice bike/s of course for fun stuff. I'm quite lucky that my work let me lock my bike indoors, partly because the last one was stolen from their car park though. Other than that it's a case of being organised to get about when public transport is called for and get a decent set of waterproofs!
I am considering a car at the mo, to get me to bike trails for one thing! I am fairly lucky though in that here in Bournemouth the public transport is fairly good.

I'm after some hoops pro2 with crests as well when they are out.
Anyone know if they will be priced the same?

As well as setting + first, I find that setting the – with the bike upside down gives a more accurate Reading as you don't have the weight of the bike adding to the negative pressure ( this may work with + too but I only had the issues with the -)

I get the fear turning right since shattering my wrist doing so on a round about last year. It's like the muscles around the impact area getting the fear rather than my brain… :S
    POSTED 3 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

I get exactly the same. My brain says mmm corner – lean over , my arm says screw that and I stay upright.

Gets used every day and gets cleaned once a week, usually after having fun On the weekend rides before it turns into the commuter again. Quite often though I just clean the important bits (drivetrain and forks) and leave the rest – just so those bits function better and last longer.

I love Frankie. Think he's hilarious, but it's all a matter of taste I guess.
What strikes me as a little odd is that almost without exception his jokes are going to be offensive to one group or type of person. He's that type of comic. The parent concerned no doubt was a fan I would imagine as she went to see him live. In that case it follows that at some time she would have been guffawwing loudly to a joke or two he said that someone else might have considered offensive. Smacks of raging hypocrisy to me. If you go to watch someone like him live you must anticipate surely that everybody is in play for ridicule.

Used aol, slow and awfull software.
Used bt, slow and lost connection frequently.
Used sky very very very slow.
Recently changed to virgin and the difference in quite something. Fibre optic though so costs more and depends on abailabilty. Well worth it though.

Surfer-"You would have to be very drunk to decide to take him to the pub as oppose to the nearest A&E!"

Just noticed that error myself! Clearly hospital would be better (then back to th pub)
