As an aside , am I putting my ebike drive train under more pressure than Cav in a sprint?

I’ve gone 10 speed on my e-bike using the deore cassette. It’s one piece so my reckoning is that all the power will be applied evenly to the free wheel.

The dropper cable route on my ebike is shocking but still works beautifully.

Surely you have an internal dropper and you’re trying to make it external?

I’ve perforated shoes galore but cutting the tongue out makes the biggest difference.
Your big veins are on the top of your feet, no tongue means your blood is getting cooled.

I cut the tongue out of my lace up specialized shoes and I’ve not had hot feet since.
When it cools down I just refit the tongues with some Velcro that I added.
The cool air going over the top of your feet when pedalling is blissful

I tried pilates and she was a rubbish teacher.
Yoga was better but they spent too much time breathing.
I’d like to do some of those exercises Chinese people do before going to work.
Stretching but also exercising.

Slightly related. My IT band is tight.
This year I’ve been doing the knee on top of the other one exercise and rolling my piriformis on a hard ball and all has been well.
I managed to complete couch to 5k injury free for the first time.
I started walking to work and since then my piriformis, top of my thigh and knee feel tight. Have been doing to exercises, taking tablets and it just seems to get worse.
Anything else I can do?

When I get on my Hunt bike it always seems to have that extra zip. This is compared to Dt and superstar.

My mum is 65 miles away and can’t grasp how to use a phone.
I’ve bought her an echo show and normal echo.
As they are both on my account I first Drop In on the small one and ask if it’s ok to put the screen on. Sometimes the carer is there and says they are busy. Normally all is ok and I Drop In on the Show.
Sometimes mum mumbles so it’s a lot easier to have a conversation if I can see her.
She can also manage to ask it to play the bee gees.
This way she gets a visit everyday.

My stepdad has everything paid into his account. Hence my mum is very poor and is totally funded while he is totally minted.
He even gets 2 lots of winter heating allowance somehow.
Not right but there you go.
Edit , one thing you can do is get a LPA and a bank card for her account.
Fill your car up every now and then , buy meals out , go “shopping for her”.
You can be gifted for anniversaries , birthdays etc.

One thing the intraweb has shown me is that there are people who would pay good money to be tazed and kicked by a man in big boots.

So many stories I could tell but when my mum first went in she couldn’t move. We arrived unannounced and it said do not disturb on her door. We waited outside and while doing so we could hear the lovely Irish nurse singing to my mum while she was feeding her.
