CRC know there is no hole in their security but am sure they look into all these things regardless. The biggest security hole is the PC used to order. Servers have dedicated firewalls, secured networks, teams of IT people looking after them knowing what they are going etc. PCs have people using computers with no knowledge of security, surfing round the net and downloading stuff. All speculation, but if its anything related to the net, its by far most likely an issue with peoples PC…… Too many people visiting dodgy sites…

    Hhhmmm really?

It’s incredible as we sit here now to realise that 10 years ago, ChainReactionCycles.com didn’t exist. “Some of our rivals had started to get websites but most were difficult to use and did not seem up to the job.” says Michael. We joined forces with bothers Simon and Daniel Loughlin, some friends from the race scene who were starting out on a project to build an ecommerce platform

    Taken from here

    Co incidence?

That is simply one of the false sets of figures used to create the moral panic over this

    Agreed.

However look at our American or Canadian counterparts who have liabilities of 26% and 27% of their GDP.

Just some figures, as of the end of 2009 (latest figures I could find)

Current Public Pension Liabilities £1.177 Billion (that’s nearly £20k per person in the UK)

85% yes eighty five! of our GDP.

Yet some still want to argue that this is ok and can continue?

Who will be paying for that? That’s right, your kids, their kids and possibly their kids too.

Yep, with the Warminster Wizards :-)

I had a 531 Curtis (yes the same ones making MTB frames today) and some Flite cranks, I was a lucky boy.

Sadly the BMX track got flattened by the council some years ago now.

Id like a Cannondale RZ120 in Hi Mod Carbon please.

Scapel too short and XC, Jeckell too heavy.

D521 are around 600 grms each IIRC. As above sell them on and get some stans.

Well I’ve only had mine for around 3 weeks and I’m not sure how I managed without one now. Really, it’s that good.

As above the best bit is that you can download other trails, ready made rides and directions, couldn’t be any easier.

Good to hear you got it back, still waiting for my shiny new RZ120 to arrive :-(

It’s all to do with men thinking they are the only ones allowed to wield sexual power. Which is, quite frankly, hairy and dangly, and vulnerable to violent attack…

This is very true, in fact it’s women who own the sex in a relationship.

I do vaguely remember a trhead sometime ago where a certain person put a pic up, yes she was fit and definately in the ‘pumas/cougar’ bracket.

Yeah but only the 25.4 ones with 120mm reach. I’m not surprised they are reduced.

You will have to pay up, do you really think Garmin would let you just pass maps around without charge? The don’t make alot of the money on the units themselves, it’s about selling maps.

It’s not just about the cost of repair, it’s associated costs.
I had my beloved Civic written off, took them ages to decide if the car was fixable or not, apparently they couldn’t decide if the chassis was damaged or not. Anyhow after having a hire car for 2 months they just decided to write it off in the end! Hire car bill alone was £3.2k.

Yep ,they need waste certificate to prove it’s been disposed of correctly.

Also you would need some filtering equipment as well.

Sounds like they had equipment damaged, but yes you would think there would be a back up in case this happened.

I’ve got a couple of Cro Mo ones left, mail me if you want one.

The Gusset R-Series is exactly the same (minus the stitching that wears away) if that helps.

That’s just not true, Charge have patented the design and bought sole rights for the saddle base. It may look the same but won’t be as comfy.

Camelbak for me too, why would I spend £3k on a bike just to weigh it down with crap?

I can easily empty 3 ltires of water when out for 3 hours, couldn’t get all that on a bike. I only carry spare tube, park patches, couple of energy bars, Co2 plus pump, a tenner, phone, powerlnks and a whistle (you never know).

Well done. There’s a reason you don’t weigh less but are thinner, muscle is more dense than fat so weighs more. You’re just toned now ;-)

I’ve been doing the opposite as I’ve always wanted a bit more beef on me, barely look any bigger but I’ve put on a stone since Xmas.

OK it was a contributing factor

They would have been bankrupt if they didn’t apply for protection. They were almost bankrupt again until Dorel bought them.

Ok I probably shouldn’t do this but call CSG on 01202 732288, ask for Ben Winter, he’s the main warranty chap.

Be nice to him, he’s a good guy, hopefully he may help you out.

Need some more info, how old is the bike?

I know that are severe issues with Cannondale warranty, mostly steming back from Cannondale offering lifetime warrantys in the past. We are talking 20 year old frames! On a material (alloy) that will eventually fatigue and break. From what I understand it’s what bankrupted them.

As above also start pestering for a complete bike if within 12 months old.

If you have no luck get back to me and I’ll have a word with tte warranty manager to see what the issue is.

    I thought 3 was excessive.

Well obviously there is a beach.
    Boat trips from the harbour.
    Sea life centre.
    Portland Bill lighthouse.
That’s all I know of off the top of my head.
The Bovington tank museum isn’t too far away, about 20 mins drive, live displays and tank rides in the hols.
Monkey world (my 6 yr old found that boring though)
Also nearby are coves like Lulworth which are good walks/scenery.

Yeah as above, you caught the tube under the bead of the tyre by the sounds of things.

I’ll fit you a new tube for £100

This item is NEW, and will work when received, so we can not accept returns on this item, once the item is mounted it is yours.

Wouldn’t entice me to buy from them.

Wouldn’t know about the warranty in the UK, but I doubt it, also I’m sure the transfers on the rim are different to the last set I sold.

Is Hora actually a real person?

It does seem like he is ‘ripped off’ all the time

Perhaps he should become the next Mary Portas.

No chance, the seatpost will either constantly slip down or you will end up knackering your frame.

check your contract! Most contracts refer to holiday entitlements plus bank holidays, so if your contract says you have bank holidays off then you can take 29 April off (as it is a bank holiday).

However, if your contracts states your holiday entitlement INCLUDING bank holidays, then you can take the day off but you won’t get an extra day off as it will come off your entitlement.

Seems to be the correct answer.

Novatech are preety ace by all accounts.

AVOID Mesh, nothing wrong with the products, but the delivery and after sales is woeful. Premium rate numbers for tech support to Indian call centres and clueless staff.
