I built mine with no prior knowledge of doing any thing like it before. I used Wix. Their tools are very easy to use and you can build a site in a matter of days and then just fine tune it on an ongoing basis.

Mine looks ok but I really need to spend more time on it but I am a little busy with work and my family. Plus I find it the most boring thing in the world to do.

They have tonnes of useful apps and are very cheap about £11 a month.

Hi Dan, got mine last week and I love it. Its mega stiff and the lefty fork is (as always, I have had 3) amazing. Very stiff and great steering.

Size wise, I was a little disappointed I was hoping it would be about an inch or inch and a half longer than it is. I just put a 75mm stem on it and I am better pleased now.

I have about a 33/34 inside leg and I could still raise the post an inch or two before I hit the minimum insertion line.

I would suggest you for for an extra large for sure, with you having a longish body. I would have gone for the extra large if they had the carbon 2 in that size. You will love it though these bikes are great the rear shock is sweet and really improves my climbing ability.

My son lost his iphone 6 so I had to get him a new phone, he got a Galaxy s6 for a change (because some of his friends had one) and he thinks its miles better than his old iphone and is very pleased, and thats coming from an iphone fanboy.

I hate iphones and think they are over priced flimsy under performing rubbish for what they cost and would rather not have a phone than buy one.

A good top end carbon frame will be lighter, stronger and stiffer than its aluminium counterpart. I got my first one when I saw Tinker riding a carbon Rush and I have purchased carbon frames/bikes ever since.

Depending on their proposed use/discipline they can be extremely stiff in parts and more forgiving in others and they achieve this by using different carbons and different lay ups in manufacture.

All the bikes I have had have been extremely stiff and quick to accelerate and just allow the suspension to work exactly as it should.

You can tell the difference immediately in my opinion. And carbon wheels are a revelation, I could not believe the difference from a high end aluminium set to a carbon set. It blew my mind. I’d recommend buying one all day long.

Topeak Hexus 2 as stated earlier, brilliant tool, I have used one for many years and the chain tool is excellent.

I thought it was one of the worst films I have ever seen and watching films is pretty much what I do with every spare minute I have, when I am not working or riding. I love films.

I hated this film so much that I honestly started to feel sick and depressed watching it and turned it off. I have never experienced any thing like it, it was very strange.

And the Oscars it won, I was just dumbfounded.

They should be available, but the price of that plus the price of a full service and very possible the top cap bushing has also gone so that would need to be replaced at a cost of £40. You would be better off buying a new post.

    service – £80
possible top cap replacement – £40
Upper inner tube – guessing at least £50

I say a replacement top cap due to you mentioning scoring of the upper tube. Most probably from dirt getting inside the post and not only wearing away the upper tube but probably both bushing surfaces. One bushing comes in the kit, the other is part of the top cap.

I would save on hassle and buy a new post.

Id say keep looking there may be better options available as there are sales going on every where. I have seen a few and my first impressions were that I wasnt really that impressed. But thats just me, I am sure there are loads of happy Nukeproof owners out there.

I’ve just got a bike from Pauls Cycles, my 4th from them over the years and they have some great deals on, give them a whirl.

@spawnofyorkshire thanks for the advice, ill give it a whirl. Im still waiting for the next 6.0.1 update to see if it will sort the battery life. I mean a 3760mah battery lasting about a day is pretty poor.

Ive got a moto x force and the battery on that was 2 days plus with out charging. Thats with normal use, emails, Youtube etc etc.

I downloaded Marshmallow and it has absolutely killed my battery. Same type of usage and at the end of the day there is about 20% left when there used to be 50-60%

Im absolutely gutted it crap and the thing is you cant go back to the previous operating system.

Have you tried soymilk, loaded with protein. And blend some fruit and green leaves with it using a nutri bullet.

    Good news!

Ive had a couple of lefties in the past. Lightest bike I have ever owned was a carbon Rush, it was crazy light. I love the lefties, fantastic fork.

When I get a few more bucks together I think ill swap the wheels out for a set of Easton Haven Carbons (that will shave some weight off). I got a set on my Ibis and they are amazing, I’ve been absolutely blown away by them as soon as I rode them.

Ultra stiff and strong and the 2 wheels weigh 1400g. The box came and I thought it was empty. Put them on the bike and the difference was immediate. I was dubious initially but noticed the difference immediately. Amazing.

Ordered, coming early next week cant wait!

Spoke to a guy who was saying that he has had a lot of feedback from customers saying that they sizing is good and that some people felt they could have gone down a size from their regular choice. Its all personal preference at the end of the day though.

    So thats nice.

It allows you to remove the hose from the post body with out losing any oil and this not having to rebleed when you reconnect. You don’t need to but is very handy in stopping oil loss

32 lbs wow. Does it feel heavy pedalling at 32lbs I’ve read that it pedalls well and feels lighter than it is. Is it a struggle on the up or does the elevate mode eleviate some of the heaviness thanks.

Thanks for the reply guys. I’m from South Wales near Merthyr Tydfil if that’s near any one who offered to let me try their bike. So looks like I could go for a large or maybe am xl but only large left at Paul’s cycles. I really need to try one might see if any local shops have one in stock but I doubt it.

I’m also wondering are the Jekyll 2 carbons heavy at all and more to the point do they ride heavy or pedal really well. Has any one actaully weighed a stock carbin 2. Coming from a 27lbs Ibis I dont really want to go too heavy although I’d probably swap out some parts to save on poundage.

I know this is a silly question but have you checked the air pressure?

Other than that I would say that the main piston seal head has become slightly loose allowing the oil to slowly escape past the seal, slowly leading to the point that you are at now.

If this is the case no amount of bleeding will sort it you’ll need a full service.

If its fairly new then its a warranty issue.
