Straitline for quality and no bearings to service!

    They look great and grippy.

Shimano DX were ok-used for years but the pins bend and are hell to replace!

Straitline customer service in Canada-well the bloke who machines them was excellent. Sent me free pedal when I smashed one on a rock.

Mine are black and 2nd pair are Xray. Wish I waited for red!

I rode my zaskar up a steep hill super fast froma downhill run and hit a rock with the back wheel.

The back end shot up and the saddle it me full wack in the lower region.

Felt like a huge smack in the butt, butt hole, prostate and nuts.

My bike had buggered me! To say I was stunned and rubbing my butt for 5mins before a big ride!

That was painful and from that event rain or snow or wind is not seen as painful due to the threshhold being raised from slammed in the nether regions.

I definately reccomend it but your children may be born cross eyed.

I came on to a pitch and booted the football from the centre sport and scored the winning goal for school team by accident.

I got piled on-it was hell I couldn’t breathe and took a lifetime to get everyone off leaving me gasping for life.

As long as your not at the bottom and dying it is fun! just don’t score flooky goals!

I’m quitting reserach to get into teaching-I love working with kids and I was a trouble maker in school-so bring it on Peter Pan!

I’m doing the science degree, PGCE 11-19 not 11-16 as I want to to teach A’level Chem and Biol and GSCE Physics. Maybe do a Phd and become a lecturer or MBA then Headmaster one day.

Anyway it’s fun, it’s like teaching bikes! it’s your passion. And it’s great to see kids do well.

It’s not for everyone and kids can be a pain for some and also loads of marking.

Pay? £28-32K in my area as there is a demand. It’s not £100k but it’s 9 months of fun and then 3 months of riding!

Your Daughter will need A’Levels, degree and then PGCE primary or Bachalor of education then PGCE in primary.

Regardless of experience. They want the quals. My degree isn’t pure Chem so I have to do an extra 6 months of Chem then my PGCE.

Look at the long route and plan it wisely and finacially-don’t get involved or a mortagage or become/make pregnancy as I see these flks go through hell as Uni.

Save cash and more cash and enjoy!

    Everyone remembers a great teacher!

I do have a high def LCD monitor flat screen 22 inch and a laptop and watch DVDs while doing work and the radio.

I do get more work done but still have tons to do.

I did have 2 pci tv cards and a freeview usb stick which works brilliant with aeriel except I spend 90% time in my study with no aeriel socket-maybe if I had digital reception on a potable aeriel then I’d get a licence no probs. I posted my usb and pic cards all to my old man in Cambridge as you’re not allowed to have receiving equipement and my monitor needs hdmi or VGA socket-its not a tv (inspectors pop and tell me this-nice folks too).

The Tv licence inspector does pop in occassionally and calls me by first name as we sit and have a cup of tea-I show him my in tray a foot high-tv time?

I just checked whats on and maybe science docs or footy raises an eyebrow but I couldn’t watch it-I get bored.

Iplayer-Casualty etc same old same old. Ok I do look up bbc news online sometimes and I’m told I not allowed to do that as it is live?
ITV gives free stuff which is rubbish and never it’s movies except the Champions league.

    I’ve seen Friends/Simpsons to death.

I must admit I like going out/talking to new people/friends and riding more than ever.

I started when I got fed up of lies and mass media influencing sheep following. My GF thinks it was weird until she asked am I earning more!
    Productivity is definately up!

Everyone to themselves right? just don’t take my internet away!

Building a single speed now-with the radio on.

Err The U.K. is a wet and cold country.

I decided to stop moaning after being told to **** off.

Actually a friend said there was no such thing as bad weather but bad clothing, so since I wear the right gear that can cope with rain and cold when riding and check the forecast.

The dirty rain is pollution being washed down? makes your clothes dirty so I hang mine up in the house-where it’s warm and dries faster without all the extra airing.

Ok it helps owning a washing machine-we take it for granted.

Sell your tv and buy a washing machine!

I look at Inger-lund and think it’s raining-it’s cold it’s a nice day. If the sun comes out-bonus.

    Choice of your mind.

My goal within w yrs is to move and live in Sydney or LA as I suffer from SADD and need either sunlight or tons of exercise.

    Winter holidays downunder helps.

Cheer up Spoony it could be worse your bike could be nicked. 😆

It’s a finer’ fabric which won’t let you get too hot.

Personally I use the std stealth tights with my stealth jacket as I hate cold weather.

Only thing is if you stop at the pub and you’re sweaty and spend a bit a of time talking outside instead of riding you freeze -hence I like the warmth from the std stealth.

I guess it’s useful in the climate at the moment but you could get away with std thermolite or DHB autumn or spring tights/bibs.

Thing is if you have a mechanical-it’s a long walk home in cold weather.

If you find the stealth too warm but want the water proof and breahable fabric without the heat get the lite.

If you’re like me and hate the U.K. winter weather and rather be in Australia then get std stealth!

I’m riding to work in shorts ok in this weather (25mins) but longer rides if it doesn’t rain I can use std lycra bibs.

It isn’t that cold in the U.K. but like today it rained cats n dogs in Bristol.

    Hope that waffle helps?

I’d run her messed drive as a slave drive on another pc, access her documents and copy across what I needed, sometimes you have to take onwership of the files-Google.

Format her hard drive once I had all the data I needed+reinstall windows etc.

And set her laptop to hibernate or standby at 10% of battery power and tell her to get off lazy backside and plug power cable in.

Unless she was on a train etc. If she was at home watching tv then she needs to have punishment to correct the errors of her ways-get her to make a cake.

druidH I beg to differ about the shagged famous remark. Do porn stars count because back in 99 I was in thi job where…long pub story.

    Ahem.

There is always going to be trouble by people who have hatred for no real reason.

Lets just sell weapons to both sides and let them kill each other if they can’t live with each other.

If both sides want peace there will be peace. I hope it doesn’t result in arms.

Hey it’s for dodgy country lanes with dips in the road and sports cars on flung on their roofs in the fields you point out while driving at 50mph.

They are not going to do that to dual A roads or M roads-they will not be affected.

I have a country lane with National speed limit signs-it is about 1/2 mile long with 30 mph before and after and really bendy like a fairground-nobody reads the bloody signs or know what it means so if it’s reduced to 50 it won’t make a difference to Micra driver.

Probably safer for us roadies! 😈

I always pay them and being a member of a club I can 10% off goods or they throw in some free fitting.

I bring goodies to show my appreciation as gesture of thank you to their kindness.

(if I was a rich Arab I’d buy them a Ferrari and 20 cammels, I’m not btw! so I buy a top brand chocky biscuits instead).

    Mmm chocky biscuits…raining no so I can’t pop into shop…peckish too…

    Resist resist! 😈

More mpg, leave home another 3 hrs earlier…

Think I’ll get cruise control fitted for my monthly home visit from Bristol to Peterborough.

Might ride the 188 miles in summer…leave at 5am in the morning, 12hrs of riding…beat the jams…

I wish they would ban rain and cold weather instead.

I’d go aluminum and carbon fork and seat post.

Only if it’s your first road bike as you’ll crash a bit until you’re a master then go carbon and enter sportives etc.

If you’re already into road bikes-go carbon.

I heard the blues by accident as a child-loved it and bought a guitar and jam now and again still.

All the rest was 80’s to modern chart, older sister/musical Dad-rock and goth and 50’s 60’s 70’s radio or MTV Europe/USA etc even classical music was easily found.

But the Blues was a discovery that no one shouted about or marketed mainstream.

The stuff still kicks. I love it.

I think it depends on the seller.

If someone says they will take them and emails the seller and arranges how to pay etc.

If goes wrong or change of mind then whoever is second place could buy the product or just advertise again-it’s free after all?

Funny how all the people lost out moaning on here.

If you agree to to 2 sellers and they both pay pal then you have to sort all that out.

Be a gentleman seller and buyer. It’s good Karma.

We all miss out on bargains but so what?
