Could be armed with knives etc.

    Bike replaceable, human life-not.

If you're going in, go quick and hit pretty hard and know how to stike by following through as you don't want these guys getting up.

Or use your brain, takes pics with your mobile, call cops and wait.

No, I guess I wanted to make sure the other plonker was ok and then the ambulance team left with 3rd party in wheelchair.

I got up and fixed the bike enough to get home.

Nurse said as my eyes were ok it was a minor whiplash with headache at drop in centre, to ring them if I was bad in the morning.

You need to go into a shop and look at the options, price it up and see which is easy.

If you are going to spend time in the car a lot-then make life more enjoyable.

So many options, Saturday in Halfords-the manaager or Audio specialist will deffo be in for sales-make an appt with them and haggle-get fitting for free etc.

Google and see whats hot and what is not.

If its not steel I wouldn't risk it, could snap or crack the tube or break while going fast and goodbye 'teesh' and dose.

Don't do it, maybe 120 max.

Besides the handling will be messed up.

    Depends on the weight.

There will be a range of normality and then small bits outside the bell curve.

Ride my commuter-it weighs a ton. But at 28lbs fully laden against my 21 lbs mtb well you will notice it.

But if it was 28 and 26lbs maybe not as much? Want to get detailed? get your statistics out books out.

It took you a while Tootall (Waves)

Wasawas- yeah I know I guess I felt really sorry for her as she was in tears. I'll wait till 2morro see how I am but my insurance forms are being posted so I'll have a clear head when they arrive and see how I physically am. Not what I need though! but poop happens.

Now I have a stiff neck and headache-off to get some ice and cold shower on my head.

Oh well at least the ride was fun and weather was nice.

    Ride safe folks!

Just been talking to NHS about dizzy spells and headache, stiff neck looks minor whiplash-sods law and I have a report to hand in on Friday!

Gawd my head, glad the other person is ok, now I want to throw mini pump at them.

    MTFU with paracetamol.

    Thanks guys,

I'm glad the 3rd party has not broken any bones but just battered.

I kept my cool, gave 1st aid and organised ambulance from my med training.

Now home, gave police report, have number for insurance company to sort out repair or new frame etc.

My head hurts, twisted leg, grazes and bruised but MTFU except my left nut burns a bit from the top bar when I walk

2 witnesses called me and are on my side-one said you were very slow compared to most riders and rang your bell when you went past us and the 3rd party ran across you without looking. But will claim on my own insurance but I will be out £60 excess and new cleats, new setup but £100 is nothing against some 3rd party who could have been permenantly injured (I'm ok paying even though my insurer reckons I could claim against but I don't think that will be fair to them after all the injuries they had.)

Eating ice cream and thank my lucky stars but no sportive next week and no bloody bike!

Blaming my GF who said go for a nice relaxing ride…doh!

    How old are you?

If you're over 30 then you might improve the blood vessels for gaseous exchange.

I had a 6.2 litre lung capacity at 18, now its dismal. But I can try to improve the exchange I guess but thats like riding at 80-90% VO2 Max but don't do unless you're in good health.

Or in leymans, training and lots of hills so you're out of breathe…

You want a car stereo that will allow you to plug a cable from the mp3 player or ipod headphone jack to play your fave music.

You'll see the input hole on the stereo. Price? well whats your budget?
£140+ and you'll get a CD player built in with the option of a cd autochanger in the boot in future.

See Halfords I guess. (You might need wiring and fitting and facia covers)

Bluetooth ear piece for your moby? again budget? and look at battery lifespans etc and charging in your car.
Personally I would get a hands free kit for your car that charges your mobile and sticks the sound through your car speakers.

Personally go into Halfords get a quote, then see an idependant audio store that will fit everything.

All about how much cash you want to spend, no budget? then get decent kit and make sure your car insurance covers your stereo, mp3 unit and handsfree kit.

I like both except for shimano chains naff and their cassettes heavy.

I have 2 roadbikes-one Shimnano and one Sram both great.
Sram has converted me but their front mech trim sucks.

No need for it, is there?

but they choose their actions and must take responsibility instead of blaming other people for their problems.

One day your Daughter will drive past her in a new car etc and the scrote will be on the dole or in prison.

V-brakes has its place-who told they were naff?

I won't use them as I want stopping power and reading the instructions of disc brakes-well it was a piece of cake but I am experienced with hydro brakes on cars and motorbikes.

It does make me wince reading about problem after problem but thats what the forum is for-to help each other too.

I think I went round one stw poster's house to show him how easy it is. Not everyone is Einstein.

V-brakes are crap in the wet or dented rims, descents etc I hate my roadbike brakes.

In dry summer xc races, V-brakes are ideal, everything else they are naff.

teachers even stood by when scrote came at me. teachers are afraid apart from the one who took it hard protecting her.

Teachers are always getting sued by parents for stopping fights-its rediculous. I had to be a witness as a teacher pulled off a 15yr old kicking the head of battered teen on floor only for the 15 yr bring theor parents into school who didn't want to know.

Some kidshave probs but why leave them in a class halting the progress of normal kids? Kick the little toads out of school and get them working cleaning toilets. Hope Cameron does bring back power to schools.

    Good on you IDAVE!

I hear it's mostly gay men who are attracted to pop idols like Kylie, Cher etc

Nah I just like fit women and Kylie is a fit woman. You can call us gay, I'll prove you wrong though.

And Jeri Ryan is not 7 of 9, at least a 10!
