I haven't got one but others I know love it, and with rack and mudguard mounts you have it all.

Be a nice ride too with that steel frame.

Psychie, we're either right that do drag or need to do some miles! 😆

Don't get me worng I won't change them, but I had super light tyres on last yr (26 x 1.3) and flew and raced some roadies.

Now I have a hack bike, fully laden I guess with panniers but it sure is a good workout!

Tyre is grippy as hell too round down hill bends and I find cars take ages to catch up, goes up hill well.

But straight line it just trickles along. Get back on the roadbike with mates and I can fly no probs so I guess it is good have 850g per tyre…

Go Go gadget electric bike motor!

what will you be upgrading to zaskar?

I just don't know what to go for.

    Got about £50 to spend

Probably in Aug/Sept when I am 10kg lighter and buy a carbon or ultralight aluminum. Might keep this one to wack into the service stand or sell on the frame -sorry.

See if Evans are still selling them cheap in their sale?
Chuck a wanted addy in classifieds-someone will have something!

I was on this plane chatting to a lady when she invited back to her hotel in Malyasia… Then the second plane we bump into each other again but this time exchange phone numbers.

Years later, delete her number as I never called… bump into her again while visiting sports centre last weekend. Holy crap Batman.

Sat next to a drug cartel guy who asked me to carry his cigs for him…no!
and watched customs lead him away and then saw him on tv the next day.

Sat next my Managers son on airplane to New Zealand once -after he told me loads of funny stories and then went pale when I told him who I work for and where…lol (he kept on saying "please don't tell my Mum")

Ideal if you mounts but you could use Tortec P clips on the frame or a rear carrier bolted to the seatpost.

I find I can breathe a bit better without a rucksack strapped to me.
Panniers can rattle so make sure you get a good one.

Watch out for short stays as you want a specific mtb one that won't wack your ankles or disc brake specific mounts.

I have a cheap Ritchey Comp Seatpost 2 bolt that came with the bike-cheap, not heavy and does the job.

Will be upgraded in a few months of riding.

Cheap and cheerful good quality seatpost.

I'd never key a car, it just makes you lower than the person who offended you.

If it was that bad and that you want to harm them back, call the Police.

How much and does it come with BB? actually let them (CRC) know and do the right thing.

We don't need names-something could be seriously wrong.

The person could be on holiday, but if they have not told you e.g. I'm away or busy for next 2 weeks then I'd be miffed.

Email them for a refund or you will go public.

971 on my winter roadbike and xc.

Depends on how many miles you do and budget.

    I don't want £100 chain every 3 months…etc

Sram 971 is a good chain and chage every 3-4 months of high miles.

Also a chain checker will save you loads in chain money. Only £6 in shops.

    Its true though!

I go into the interview room and the lady interview asks if you're married or partnered etc even though you selected single.
There is no ring on your hand…

Is she checking I filled it in or something else? Gay she thinks I'm gay and she has a problem with it. (I'm not gay and have nothing against it.)

My solution: Deep voice and flirt and compliment and laugh at her bad jokes…yes I will sell my ass to get that job if she's under 50.

She goes away flattered and knows yep he's single and available…and not gay.

I wish we lived in society where nobody is discriminated. But I wouldn't get that job.

Dam its a guy, be his tough best mate…be his tough best mate…

    Like anything really, haggle.

Keep offering a price until the Agent etc or house owner says ok.

Don't forget you get price even lower due probs found in building survey.

I bought a student house, £150K, I offered 135K, 139K, then 142K and sold-it was in an ok area but easily snapped up by other buyers-I lost out twice in the same street.

Servey show damp kitchen, fear on tv about price crashes. I knocked it down to 137K and they agreed.

Cost me £3K in parts for me and Dad to rebuild everything and was valued at £180K last year probably 170K now and probably get £155K offers but I wouldn;t less than 160K.

    Some add 10% etc.

I think you should start at 160K at least and up you go till both sides are happy.

My pal offered 40K less for £200k house 2 yrs ago and sold on first offer but it is a flood risk area lol.

Was she able to drive away after demolishing a wheel? So, she thought you were on her inside so deliberately tried to squash you, and it's only because of her crap situational awareness that you were actually safely behind her?

If it happened to me and I had a witness, I'd be seriously thinking about pushing the police to prosecute for dangerous driving. If she'd hit you, would you have been seriously injured?

I haven't ridden on the road for a while but it got to the point after situations like this I started to ride with a helmet cam.

For once I'm not going to sue… I'm so desensitized to angry drivers now(still gotta be careful) I think she had Karma do her.

I don't think she'll do it again and I don't think she realised how close she was. I didn't laugh but sighed think plonker. Just reading a previous post about cutting up riders and this afternoon it was me.

I just don't get what happens to people once they're in a hunk of steel.

    No need!

I think it depends who you speak to like in a shop-kind hearted manager will be fine but store clerk covered in zits will say no.

But he was doing his job and you need to make a res…
