No-just my personal opinion, it’s his choice what he does as long as he is happy with the bike. It is a nice bike with a nice spec.

Personally I think LX and SLX are the same brake but different colour-they have almost identical part numbers bar the colour code.

They do have better levers of the servo kind which is pretty good.

Yeah my XTR did that too. Check your wheel and rebleed your brake with the spacer and you’ll find it’s great.

Downhill I would never use a quick release e.g. whistler. Bolts or 20mm-which is what it was designed for.

Materials can fail though and there have been many recalls on shimano QRs!

Most of us haven’t got a law degree or mechanical physics Phd.

Best we can do is learn and check out QRs before and during check points of trails. :twisted:
