I replaced an E-type mech with a conventional mech.

The tube wasn't brittle or racing quality so no probs there.

Read a couple of threads today, Ton and his glue sniffing, kingkongsfinger and his photo stealing and the anti car stuff with Zaskar and the almost incedent. Anti car? no way just silly drivers/riders who nearly kill you. Mistakes happen but a careless death really gets me.

And no breaking the law is acceptable but its about getting caught and punishment for laws vary. Follow rules too closely and you'll get nowhere, break them very badly and you're nicked sonny.

Been using Oakleys but tempted to use those clip ons you put on the inside of riding glasses.

Well a longer stem makes it less twitchy but then slower in short turn response.

It's all about You and while someones setup is great for them its not always great for you.

Read around, speak to LBS and experiemnt till you find something that suits your position (clear your mind and enjoy your ride)

I tend to flow with traffic on the inside if traffic starts to slow but I don't overtake.

When traffic is dead then I'll move to outside when safe and overtake there.

Been some really ace drivers out there flashing me to move out which is great.

Some drivers are just dumb. riding down a main road one day an ambulance came from the rear lights a blazin. So the twonk in the car in the lane next to me just pulls straight over without even looking. Problem was there was barriers for about 100 meters on the pavement so no where for me to go. Ended up hopping off my bike and on to his bonnet before I got squashed and even then he didn't notice me!!!
With him still looking in his wing mirror I ended up beating on his windscreen. The look on his face when he turned round to find me sat on hs bonnet beating his window was priceless. That sheer look of horror on his face was the only thing that saved him from getting a slap

What you need to do is contact the Indian visa offices or apply online etc.

If you're in a rush you could pop over to Birmingham with your passport /ID and fill in the forms there and then-get your visa in 3hrs-5hrs.

I did this for a pal-drove him there to jewelers section, filled in form, picked waiting ticket, went walkied in the city centre and came back 4 hrs later to pick up visa.

I found sometimes he spoke out against some one side opinions while everyone remained silent.

Sometimes funny but I tend to avoid the arguements.
I didn't see where he went overboard but the mods are not that bad (are they?)

Maybe a yellow card system or a one week ban would be better to teach the culprit to take it easy.

Personally I think there could be loads banned for causing problems but Fred always seems to be caught out by people moaning to the mods. Was he banned last year for the Man Utd footy thing when someone called someone a name, Fred stood up and said it was not nice and got banned.

Again I think one sided views to ban one person is a joke. They were rubbish in the wet but the fastest commuter tyre I have ever used.

Also consider the rim of your tyre too.

Skinny rims like 717s will take slimmer tyres.

schwalbe marathon plus.

These are not fast! (puncture proof but 850g?) excellent winter tyre.

You need something light and fast for summer maybe Panaracer Crosstown MTB Tyre or a Continental slick.

Scwalbe do a lightweight fast tyre called the Marathon Racer which is better protected than other tyres 385-400g -rolls well but reflected by price.
